The workers are lazy and slow, collecting a paycheck not doing their job. They should be fired.

Impossible to reach via the phone. Went in 6 weeks ago to move my mailbox and noone ever contacted me. My mailman won't deliver my mail if the box is blocked yet he walks the entire rest of the street to deliver into the porch. Just lazy. I can't control who parks on the street and it's a joke trying to reach someone to rectify the situation

Terrible service
Arrived at 2 PM on the dot for a walk-in passport, waited 40 minutes in line, was told my documentation was wrong (fair) so I fixed it, was told I was wearing the wrong shirt for a photo (fair) so I got a new shirt, came back in BEFORE the time for walk-ins was over, got in line BEFORE walk-in time was over, and wasn't helped because she never saw, since she was in the back for 10 whole minutes. When I told her I was here before 3 o'clock she got loud and had someone else deal with me. I heard her in the back talking badly about me and was told very politely by the next person to come back tomorrow.
Skipped school for such terrible service.

I had 2 things to just drop off. Got there 3 minutes before the posted closing time and they refused to unlock to doors to let me in on. 4/26/25. Unfortunate but I guess they should change the times they close if they are going to close earlier than posted.

If the Government is looking to cut 10,000 postal workers, this is definitely the place to start. You might as well shut it down. They go on break right in your face and they wait on one customer per hour. They favor some customers over others based on race. They hate what they are doing and it shows. They should take the voluntary retirement package because they are miserable.

Manager Barbara Columbus Is unaware of the post office insurance claim rules. When asked about an insurance item that was denied, she told me she would look for my item. Then she called people and made me stand for 40 minutes. Then she told me item wasn’t able to be returned and I had to appeal the decision. When I asked further questions she then threatened to call the cops for creating a disturbance. She was the only one being spoken to in a normal conversation. She got flustered and didn’t know the details of her job so her solution was to threaten me with cops. USPS service center apologized to me. They made her & her staff retrain on the claim policy. It took me almost 3 months to retrieve my item and I heard her arguing with staff members behind a closed door my next visit. Front desk worker Peggy had to be retrained. She was very rude and made up false information during the process. She kept warning me I wouldn’t get any coverage claim assistance. That’s not her job and she shouldn’t be giving out her opinions or discourage people. I called their public number over 20 times and never got one person to answer the phone.

I will start my saying the lady at the counter was very kind and apologetic in this matter. However, we had a passport appointment at 10 am. When we arrived, the second employee was pulled into a “mandatory meeting”. We waited 25 minutes to be told by the other employee that the meeting would likely last a long time and there would be no time for our appointment. This was incredibly disrespectful and inconsiderate of the post office to pull one of only two staff for a meeting knowing that there are people there for an appointment. We took the morning off work for this disgraceful treatment.

As others have said, they don't pick up the phone.
Edit: I went in person and was told specifically not to call
Edit 2: If you come here for a passport, expect to wait a long time.

received a parcel that was placed by the Postman into the oversized parcel box. The key to open the parcel box would not fit. Either a bad key, damaged lock or whatever. The PO needs to perform Preventative Maintenance to avoid situations like this.I have been getting the run around from various post office personnel in attempt to resolve the issue.

Terrible experience. No one on the phone, delivery driver messed up my order.
Edit: Shannon at the desk was able to place a hold and got me the package the next day. He did a great job. Still annoyed by the delivery driver but overall experience has been improved to 3 stars

I had a package that said it was delivered “in or around my mailbox” but was not there. I had to call to submit a lost package claim and take the time out of my day to drive there to see what the issue was, only to be told by their supervisor/front desk associate that that someone came out to make sure the package was delivered and it was supposedly in the mailbox when “they checked” and GPS coordinates says it was delivered so I was lying at that point. The package was in a locked mailbox I could not access that was different from my APT number. Mistakes happen but don’t claim that someone is lying about a lost package when it is due to your mail carrier’s mistake of not reading the proper letter.
