Our 1st time at the Country Animal Hospital. We saw Dr. L. The Dr. Was very knowledgeable with a great bedside manor.
The place is very clean and the staff is efficient and pleasant.
They were on Time, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Parking is Plentiful, there is even a great Pizza/Restaurant next done in the same parking lot .
Lets talk money ?, I have driven past this place 100's of times. I always thought, this place must be expensive.
After trying so many vets, then found out they misrepresented them selves and who they represented.
It turns out that Country Animal Hospital,
On Texas Rd in Old Bridge, NJ was the most reasonable. Along with the animal along with their parents are aloud to go into the facility and actually speak to a human being face to face.
I strongly recommend Country Animal Hospital on Texas Rd in Old Bridge.”

“We brought our cat, Chloe there as she was having problems breathing and we found out she had congestive heart failure. The Dr. and staff were incredible and offered us the best care for her without forcing expensive procedures that were not going to prolong her life without suffering.
He answered all the questions we had and gave us alternatives when it came to procedures and medications.

“When we brought our pups home
We knew someday we would sadly need to say goodbye. Unfortunately, that time came sooner than we could’ve expected for my beautiful Harley girl. From the onset of symptoms to the day we said goodbye the doctors and all the staff were there to answer questions and lend guidance. Our calls were always returned, questions answered, and love for my girl given. We recently brought our boy in for a checkup and the comforting words from everyone meant more than they will ever know. I completley trust my babies in their care. We may not like to hear bad news but it’s taken better when it comes from someone who loves your pet as well. Thank you for being so wonderful during a difficult time”

“It's a very friendly and warm atmosphere! There was actually no plan for me to join the last appointment for my pet cat, as another family member tends to bring him, so I was very appreciative of the vet taking time out to speak to me. My cat has diabetes and seems to have some sort of gastric issues, and I was able to discuss these concerns while doing just routine blood work.
When a large dog needed to come out, one of the techs brought my cat out of sight so he wouldn't get scared, and also chatted with me. There are also pamphlets near the desk with information, including about pet insurance that they take. It was overall enjoyable.
The facility is also clean, with some seating, and both stairs and a ramp for access. Though the door is not automatic, it is also not heavy. I did not utilize the restroom, so no notes on accessibility of that at this time.”

“I’ve had nothing but great experiences with everyone at this vet office. The veterinarians and vet techs are consistently empathetic, caring, and incredibly kind to my animals, all of whom were understandably scared to be there.
We had multiple emergency situations, including a cat with kidney disease and a dog with Addison’s disease, and the team was truly exceptional in how they handled everything. They took the time to guide us through each situation, explain our options, and support us every step of the way, which made a stressful time much more manageable.
They are on the pricier side, but considering the level of care, compassion, and expertise they provide, it is absolutely worth it for the wellbeing of my furry loved ones. I’m very grateful for this team.”
“Dr.Hughes recently came out to see my horse Gambino when he was colicking, and she was so great. I was so grateful, since we are not clients of Colts Neck Equine but my usual vet was not available, and she still drove from over an hour away to come take care of my boy during an emergency. She did such a wonderful job helping us manage his impaction colic on the farm, coming back again later in the afternoon to give him more fluids when he needed it and checking in with us by phone over the next couple days. “There are veterinarians who care for animals, and then there are those rare veterinarians and staff who truly care for the entire family. That is what we experienced at Cross Keys Animal Hospital.
When the heartbreaking time came for us to say goodbye to our beloved soul dog, Doc — whom we lovingly call Doc, The Healer of Hearts — our own hearts were breaking. Doc was not simply our pet. He was a deeply loved member of our family, and letting him go was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do.
Dr. Masso and her entire staff treated Doc with such kindness, gentleness, dignity, and love. Just as importantly, they showed that same compassion to my husband, our son, and me as we grieved.
We were never rushed. We were told to take all the time we needed with him and to stay as long as we wanted. When it was finally time for us to leave, they reassured us that Doc’s little body would be treated with the deepest care and respect. I cannot adequately express how much those words meant to us in that moment.
Although that day will always be one of the most painful days of our lives, the compassion shown by Dr. Masso and the entire staff made an unbearable experience a little easier to carry. We will never forget how they treated our beautiful boy or how they treated our family when our hearts were broken.
If you are looking for a veterinarian who will not only provide excellent care for your pet but will truly understand how much that animal means to you, I wholeheartedly recommend Cross Keys Animal Hospital.
And one day, when the time is right, we believe another little dog will find his way into our lives — perhaps with a little help from Doc himself. When that day comes, there is no question where we will bring him for his care.
