We are a small law firm and CatCom has been our IT services provider for nearly 40 years. The best. Always available and quick to respond with a solution or a repair.

I have been a customer for about 6 years and feel luck to have Catcom in my neighborhood! My last visit a couple of weeks ago was because my laptop charger sparked and fried out when I plugged it in to the outlet. I went in to Catcom thinking I had to purchase a new charger but the owner said "let me try this first' and took the piece that fits into the socket and replaced it with a new one, and voila that worked! He not only saved me over $140, he gave me the replacement piece for free. Thank you!

Tried to horrifically up sell me a liquid cooler for almost $200 and tried to make me wait a week. Also was confused what was wrong with it in when I went in and explained it was a liquid cooler issue and I need it replaced. Then forgot to call me on the next day, almost waited two business days for information I already knew. 0 star if I could , go to micro center.

I would definitely recommend going here for computer repair. They replaced my battery and even repaired my touchpad and I think they even cleaned the insides of the computer. It's running a lot smoother now!

Catlin, the owner of Catcom Computers, is, not only one the finest people that I have ever met, but he is a marvelous technician. My computer crashed due the invasion of multiple viruses. He cleaned the computer and saved as many files as was possible. Then set me up with all the software that I originally had in two days time due to my dependence on my laptop for work. So my gratitude is obviously endless and he has my highest recommendation to anyone that needs his services.

Not happy with the results. Took my laptop there to get my cracked screen replaced. When I received my laptop back, the screen is about 3-4mm thicker than it used to be, so it protrudes from the casing and looks very strange. Furthermore, the screen is not fully centered so when I turn on my camera for zoom calls, it looks very odd.I should take it back and complain.

Not only is their pricing fair but when I had a problem opening a hard drive on my laptop, I didn't know where to turn so I went to these guys and on the spot they helped me. They were so patient and it took a few minutes but they didn't give up until they got it and they wouldn't let me pay a cent! They've also breathed life into old computers that now work perfectly and have replaced broken laptop screens. This is the only place i'll go!

My husband and I have taken our computers to be fixed many times over the years to catcom and we've been so happy with the results. But recently, I was having a hard time opening a hard drive on my laptop. I didn't know where to turn so I stopped by catcom and the guys there were beyond helpful. They took my laptop and tried different things until they found success! And wouldn't even take any money. There were so patient! I am so grateful and highly recommend their business!

I do not know what happened to customer service in this country. I know, I'm dating myself here, but I remember a time when people looked for service and paid good money and received good service. In present day, it seems customer service is more focused on deception and half-truths than service or anything coming close to helping a customer. I took my laptop to have an old battery changed out for a new one. The service was completed, and I was charged $153.54. The invoice says "1 Main Battery for HP X360 90 Days Warranty and 1 Labor_65 Sales Tax 6.625%" So, $79.00 for a battery, $65.00 for labor, and $9.54 for Tax. My batter was serviced in April 29, 2022 according to the invoice. My battery dies in June 2022 sometime and laptop only powers with power supply. I take the laptop back for service on August 24, 2022. I am told that the 90 day warranty does not cover the battery because the battery is refurbished and not new. I wasn't told the first battery installed in my laptop was refurbished, but since the battery gave out after 90 days CATCOM wants to charge me again. Okay, so I agree because I need a new battery and a working laptop. This time I am charged $79.00 for a new laptop invoice says, "New HP Battery 90 Day Warranty - Sales Tax 6.625%". New total is $84.23. I have the new battery in now and it seems to be doing the work, but moral of the story is if you want new parts, you literally have to say "I want a new battery for my computer laptop?" Now back to customer service. If I pay $153.54 for service on my laptop, I expect a new battery replacement, not a refurbished model. Especially since in this case, the cost of the so-called refurbished model and the new model are exactly the same. I suggest this business be upfront and tell their customers what parts they are using to service the equipment entrusted to them. It may be me, but I always expect "new parts" when I pay for service. Not refurbished parts, and I am typically asked whether I want new or used / refurbished parts before I pay for service anywhere (car mechanics, construction supply companies, etc...) The retailer should inform the customer of the option of going with refurbished or new parts and difference in price if there is one, because I think most customers when faced with the choice of paying $79.00 for a used / refurbished item or new item, I think most people would go with the new part. It costs the same, so why not use a new part?
