The best feeling is when you’re leaving a store already bubbling with excitement about your return back.I didn’t need any refills on my first trip here but I picked up a few pantry items that were SO good. (Side dish sauces and long table pancakes!)I was also super impressed and obsessed with their intentional produce and fresh grocery section. Definitely need to try those next time.

I love having an excuse to come here! The staff are so friendly and laid back here. They are always available if you have any questions or issues, but also let you refill without feeling rushed. This place offers a joy that you won't get at a corporate grocery store. It gives you a connection to food that is different than if you merely select something off a shelf and add it to your cart. Plus they have a great selection of household cleaners and artisanal goods. Support a local woman owned business and check this place out!

Lovely place. Not entirely vegan, so have to read labels if you are, but overall there’s an abundance of vegan options, with the zero-waste concept in mind. There’s everything from beans to soap/shampoo to snacks etc.

Love the commitment to being plastic-free and the variety of items is impressive, including dry goods, spices, produce, laundry detergent, bulk chocolates, dairy and frozen items. You can either bring your own spice containers, glass jars and oil bottles to refill or you can use the paper bags or purchase containers they provide. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Hopefully places like this are the wave of the future.

This is our one and only plastic-free, one stop grocery store! As regulars we typically get our oils, legumes, some spices, maple syrup, and dried fruit from here but there's so much selection outside of that as well like cleaning supplies, bathroom necessities, yummy treats, coffee and local farm fresh produce and dairy. We even refilled our hand sanitizer here, which is nice because we can then refill our tiny travel-size sanitizers instead of buying new ones every time. When you enter there's an easy system for you to weigh your own containers, after which you'll get a scanned barcode for that container that tells the register how much your container weighed before you filled it. If you're topping up, there's no need to empty your container at home because the weight will include what you came in with. So convenient! If you don't have your own containers there are paper bags for free and I believe glass jars for purchase to package your items. The store is elegant, clean, and logically organized. Friendly customer service is always there to help you if you can't find something or even if you wanted to suggest a new item.Lastly, they have a reward system so you can earn points and discounts the more you go :)

Shopping in this very uniquely conceptualized shop was a pleasure! All of the employees were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. As in most of Montclair, parking can be a bit of a challenge on a weekend. But that's outweighed by the very pleasant experience. I'll definitely be returning.

My husband brought up the idea of going to Dry Goods Refillery, a plastic and package-free grocery that focuses on reducing waste. What a joy! Bring in your own containers from home and fill with just the right amount of products. From pastas to produce to coffees to baking needs; Dry Goods has it all. They also had soaps and detergents you could refill or create yourself. Super clean and customer service was excellent. Easy street parking. Will definitely be back!

My favorite grocery store of all time. High quality goods with no plastic packaging. The variety of bulk goods is sensational, the seasonal produce is fantastic, and their snacks and beauty products are always delightful to explore. I have shifted a significant percentage of my shopping to DGR, and will keep ramping up my shopping here for a more sustainable household.

Absolutely love this store! My husband and I have added it to our weekly shopping routine and are always trying to add more refillable items to our pantry and meal plans. They are constantly getting new products to try and the fresh bread from Le French Dad is always an easy add-on. The staff is always so sweet and helpful as well.

I’m so happy to have finally found a refill shop that has everything I need. They’re weigh system makes it so easy, and the staff is beyond helpful if you have any questions. Here’s hoping that more stores follow your lead ☺️
