Totally satisfied with the maintenance performed on my 2019 Mercedes E450 Coupe. Vehicle was thoroughly inspected, I was kept informed of progress and suggestions were made to prioritize additional items found for potential future remediation. Eric was professional, courteous and efficient. Pricing was extremely reasonable. Until now I had always serviced my vehicle at the dealer but Hoffman's has earned my trust as a new regular customer. 2005 SUBARU OUTBACK H6 LL Bean Owner on 03/14/2025 Service
As always the service was done beyond expectations and in a very timely manner. Rear Brake discs and pads, Serpentine Belt replaced, Oil and filter change as, all fluid levels & contents inspected. No Codes found as a part of the thorough review of the vehicle.
Previous services performed as well and you might ask. Why my car is serviced at Hoffman's Foreign Auto? It is performed in a very professional manner. Eric and his team pay attention to detail and research everything from parts to the work required. Anything observed is conveyed and then discussed prior to work performed.

Honest, professional, efficient service
We recently moved up to NJ from Charleston. I brought my Subaru Ascent to Hoffman's after an internet search. When applying the brakes, I felt grinding and heard noise which made me think the brakes/rotors were worn out. Expecting some bad news, I received a call that surprised me. Eric drove and inspected all 4 and didn't find anything wrong. What a big relief. Hoffman's will be my new auto repair facility in the Montclair area. You won't go wrong bringing your car there.

Went to two Mercedes dealerships with a rattle in front passenger side of 2016 car, first one wanted $8000 and second one charged over $2000, said it was a ball joint that was causing the rattle and better to do both joints Eric found the cause immediately and fixed for a fraction of the cost. Honest, reliable and great prices, bring your vehicles here not to dealerships.

Eric is the BEST mechanic I've ever deal with. He also stands alone, an HONEST man in what can often be a shady business.
I trust NOBODY but Eric with my auto repairs. I've used him multiple times now on two separate cars I've owned, and each time he has gone above & beyond in providing service.
I'll make this simple...don't consider taking a chance with anyone else. Hoffman's Auto should be the ONLY mechanic shop that you have on speed dial.
