This place is a godsend, a mirage in the desert on a Saturday night. Open a little later than most and staffed by the friendliest chill people on the planet, what more can anyone say? It’s a liquor store with a great selection, no hassle, and I love the place with all my heart. Extra points for being dog friendly.

Stopped by Merit for a bottle of wine to pair with my dinner of Thai food classics. I was thinking a Reisling or maybe a Sancerre and the person working there suggested an overpriced Cote de Rhone. Not only was she off base with her ill-informed recommendation but added a condescending attitude that encouraged me to shop elsewhere for my wine selection. Chances of returning to Merit - ZERO.

Always helpful staff and great selection of wines. Smaller selection of liquors so be flexible there.

I love coming to Merit. Tom is always awesome. They have a great wine selection. Although the prices are slightly higher than other places, it serves our needs because of convenience. Customer service is always good--never had a complaint. This will always be my go-to when hosting.
