They have a laundromat with no hot water in any of the washing machines. There is no hot water, but the staff is very friendly.

I used to like coming to this laundrymat. I arrived at 315p. Online says close at 5p. On At the door 2p close. The female workers don't speak english well. That can be a nuisance. The Spanish folks come in and out like a hang out spot vs just doing their laundry. No disrespect intended. The $3 machines are barely available. My biggest compliant is they need to change the times of business online as well not just put a note on the door of business. Very mis leading of them. It just really pissed me off! I had to go to a different spot today to do my laundry. ALSO, INVEST IN GETTING THE FRONT DOOR FIXED AS WELL TO ENTER THE LAUNDRYMAT!!! ITS A DEATH TRAP!! IT SLAMS REALLY FAST AND HARD WHEN COMING IN AND OUT! #NOTSAFEATALL

Awful, dirty, overpriced laundromat with rude staff who donβt bother to explain how things work and just get angry. Not a nice place.

Service was smooth. Price reasonable and in and out quick.

Well before the current owners.
The current owners(3yrs?) Prioritize the pick up delivery service..
The slashed their hours to force yo to pay extra for the wash and fold Sunday close at 1pm!!! Church gets out anywhere between 10&1
Week days last wash is at 5 most people aren't home from work until 5:30

Montclair Laundry should re-categorize themselves as a strictly drop-off/pick-up service. This tiny space is taken up mostly by the machines. There is nowhere for customers to sit. Their 5:00 pm closing time is nothing short of a bad joke for those of us who work outside of our homes during the day and seek this service. On my last and final visit, it seemed as if most of the people using the machines work there. All of the machines except two (including the dryers) were taken by customers dropping off and/or picking up. There's nowhere to sit except by the door which was taken up by men who were performing services for the laundromat itself. A young lady "allowed" me to sit in the back after I asked for a chair while I waited. But the manager, I presume, later asked me to move because they were "working back there." (There was one young woman working in the area and more than enough room for me to sit.) This isn't a community laundromat this is a commercial laundry service that does not appear to cater to the community in which it is set up.

There is one person who is very nice (maybe the owner?), and then the main person is just incredibly rude. Sign says 5PM, Google says 5PM, so why is it I get turned away at 430? She talks under her breath half the time, she didn't take check, even I was told that I could pay by check (because they still don't offer card????) and, honestly, it's expensive. I *understand* having high cost for good service, but it lacks basic things (like pay by card) and basic manners. I find this place really REALLY annoying and for someone who has no washer-dryer in my building, I think this might be the worst business in Montclair considering the realtive necessity.Thought about giving 2 stars because I really like the other woman, and I would be willing to put up with inconveniences for how nice she is; but since she is not there when I try and go, I have to deal with the other person and she is the worst, so it's just 1 star from me.

Not a good place if you are African American. I was made to feel out of place.. my toddler was sitting by the door saying hi and literally NOONE spoke back to her. The patrons of another race were greeted coming and going and not one word was said to me or my child. I will never come here again. ?

Could be better. Thereβs a polite young lady helping people with their questions. Washers and dryers seem to do what they are supposed to, satisfied.

Most of the reviews are at least 3 years old and obviously are in regard to the old owner. The new owners(about 2 yrs) β'its obvious they βonly bought the business for additional machines and the only give a shyte about the wash and fold part of the company Once they bought it, they cut the hours from 7:30pm to 3:30pm In afternoon (M-F) and 2pm on weekends. moβst people work until 5, so weekends can be jammed and they still occupy machines with their W&F business.Sad these outsiders don't GAF about the neighborhood.

the previous owners weren't the best, but the new owners are the worst. Their staff is rude and unhelpful. At time Half the machines are being used by their wash and fold people. Will make the trip to Grove St from this point. They're cheaper and better customer service, it's further awylay but more than worth it
