This is a nice place if you're tight on time for your lunch break or if you want something cheap but filling. It's cafeteria style.. and tasting. I'm actually surprised by how many people have given this place so many stars. The food isn't bad, it's just.. meh. Just something I come to grab if I don't want to spend a lot and can't decide. The people are friendly and respectful everytime. The "dining area" is always clean and they have a very interesting disposal system for left over food, paper, recycle. There is a large variety of cold foods, hot foods, snacks and drinks. If i'm being honest, I had better food in basic training.

This place is good in a pinch if you don't feel like going out of the Standard building. They have a daily special lunch that's $7 and includes a drink that I like!

Normally, I go downstairs to get a Breakfast Burrito out of their case for $4.75. This morning, I went downstairs to discover they were out. When I asked if more were coming, I was told they were not making anymore and I would have to pay $1.50 more if I wanted one since they didn't have any ready. The reason I go to you instead of Qdoba, is that you are a better value. However, if I was going to pay over $6 for a Breakfast Burrito, I would go across the street instead.

There isn't many places to choose from nearby my work...the choices become even more limited if you aren't wanting to eat from a chain restaurant. Outtakes has been my go to option on most days. A majority of the food is made to order, although some options are available for a quick grab and go lunch. Most of the food is wholesome and fresh and there aren't too many processed items here which is great. You have decent options if you are trying to eat a healthy diet and some options as well if you are wanting some comfort food. The rotisserie station rotates everyday in terms of proteins and veggie side dishes offered. Meats typically offered are rotisserie chicken, roasted turkey, and roasted pork loin. There is a soup bar that rotates 4 soups daily, and a premade wrap/sandwich bar and a fried foods bar that has a dirt cheap Chicken Strip and Tots combo for under $5. There are also two rotating specials stations. Some common specials would be DIY salad, DIY baked potato, various asian noodle soups, DIY rice bowls, and DIY pasta. These typically cost $8-10 with a drink included. Every staff member has been delightful to interact with and extremely friendly and helpful. It's cool how much pride the employees here have in their jobs. I gladly would recommend this place to anyone working in the SW DT area.

My MacBook logic board died and spent hours at the Mac store waiting to speak to a technician. I walked around the area looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat and ended up at Outtakes Quick Cuisine. I will preface this by saying that I am not a fan of cafeteria venues and have a fear of pre-made sandwiches/wraps based on some unfortunate experiences with food borne illness. All that said, I got the turkey and avocado wrap and it was really good. One of the best wraps I have ever eaten. Really fresh ingredients. The people who work here are great. It's got its following for a good reason. Way better than the fast food joints in the area. Check it out.

Don't visit this restaurant. They do not trust their customers and the managers lacks the strength to implement diversity and equity training for their staff.

My first time there and I was totally impressed with the variety of food they have. This was recommended buy a court clerk that I asked while I was serving jury duty. I chose the Mongolian Grill which is totally individualized to whatever you want. Was delicious. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Once or twice a week I grab one of their breakfast burritos out of the hot case. A+ flavor every time, and a bargain at $4. Each time I share some, friends say, "Wow, this is really good!" (Though most times I don't share.)

There is always something good here. Breakfast is my favorite at Outtakes. It would be very difficult to find anywhere that makes such a good breakfast that is even close to the price they have. It is a real treat!
