Eight pots of cold coffee at 9pm. (not hot, not warm, but cold.) Am I the only one who wants hot coffee from a 24 hour store at night?2 stars instead of 1 because they offered to make a fresh pot. Thanks, but I had an Uber driver waiting for me, couldn't wait for it.Isn't the store called QUICK Chek? Could yiu have ONE hot pot of coffee ready? And how about removing the pots when they're cold?Oh, and watch out you don't park in the marked resident parking spaces in the same lot.

Never have enough employees working.

They literally never have enough staff. You will be waiting to check out even if you're the only one there. They also NEVER have slashes. Its summer time. It's QuickCheck. That's ridiculous. Don't why I don't just go straight to the one on Broad St. In Bloomfield.

You get what you pay for so if you have that mind set, this store on Valley Road has plentiful parking for the quick in and out; and convenience would be 5 out of 5 stars compared to other places in Montclair. The self serve coffee isn’t as caffeinated as Starbucks but for two dollars , it’s 2 coffees for the price of one which helps in the current environment. Plus there reward program is a 5 out 5. There is no disagreement that the store could be cleaner and selection could be more updated but it’s still light years ahead of a gas station convenience store. The new sandwich maker is on point after many failures in the past. So that’s 4 out of 5 stars for the first time.

This is the worst QuickChek I’ve been to. It’s a decent convenient store but lags behind other QuickCheks in terms of stock, staff, and technology. Here are my main complaints:1) This location is continually under stocked, especially in the food preparation area. They are regularly out of ingredients and food containers. It seems like this location does not get frequent supply deliveries.2) Inconsistent food quality. Sometimes the ingredients in my sandwiches and salads are of poor quality. Sometimes they’re fine. But overall never outstanding.3) This store does not have a self-check out station. There’s usually only one person working the register which equates to long lines at times. It’s a shame because this QuickChek is located in a very nice area of Montclair. Overall, this store needs a better manager, supply chain, and technology upgrade.

Tall lady behind register was very rude. There is a fly issue by the deli/food prepping area. Long wait for food while other employees were just chilling doing nothing. Management didn't seem to care.Only one working hard was woman making sandwiches, name was Michelle? Everyone else was terrible.

Just when you feel like you've seen one-too-many mansions in Upper Montclair, Quick Chek will put a quick check on that impression.

Ordered two sandwiches and fries. Both sandwiches were a mess! The meat, cheese, and vegetables weren't even in between the bread. Note, if you add bacon on to your sandwich, you don't actually get bacon. You get a tiny bit of bottled and dried bacon bits. The fries were old and stale, they just refry them. It was all clumped up and so hard it was inedible. It's not worth the money. You're better off going to Subway or some place else.

In light of the recent events of the past 2 years and the emotional and physical loneliness that we all have had to endure, I was moved to write this letter about someone who made me feel special and me feel welcome in your store so much that I pass 7/11, and two corner stores just to get my coffee. I came in one afternoon Lord in by the delicious looking Thanksgiving turkey sandwich that was on the door. with high hopes I went straight in order my sandwich and immediately got to my car to do that with took one bite and it was less than par . I walked back in and was greeted by a lovely woman named Rhonda who immediately took my sandwich to the back and started making me a new sandwich with what only I could describe as with love. Since then every morning as I pass the 711 and corner stores, who quite possibly could have better coffee, I go to the Quick check on Valley rd in Montclair because the smile the connection and the warmth is worth the miles. Thankx Rhonda

I’m in and out of QuickChek multiple times a day for cigarettes or last minute items that I seem to forget at the grocery store every time I go in there there’s a lady with a blond wig name Rhonda who is always so personable so friendly she’s just a breath of fresh air. I absolutely have no problems with most of the employees there all seem to be jovial and friendly but Rhonda definitely is number one in my book

Been here twice, both times understaff. Thursday night, I wanted a bag of chips. Enter the store there were 3 people in the line. Only two employees, one cashier and one making food. Me and my chips join the line. The cashier was being very patient with an elderly woman I waited and watched the line grow until it reached the door.He became so frustrated after her transaction and then a verbal altercation with a male customer debating the cost of his sandwich. . He walked away from the register to regroup. Two people can not run a high volume store.
