About St. James Preschool

St. James Preschool is a traditional Preschool Program located in Upper Montclair and has been in business for over 30 years. We utilize Creative Curriculum which is a play based program to assist the students in learning in a developmentally appropriate environment.

    Our son spent 4 years at St. James and it’s been a great experience. Caring and thoughtful teachers and a wonderful community of people who run the school. He’s grown so much and learned so much in an environment in which he felt safe and comfortable.

    St James is a wonderful place. The staff is super kind, nurturing, and communicative. My son is thriving there and he's made so many great friends. He can't wait to tell me what he's learned at the end of the day. I can't recommend this school enough.

    We have sent both our girls to St. James and love it! The teachers and staff are warm, caring, creative, and energetic. Our littlest is still at St. James and smiles heading off to school each morning. She frankly would rather be there some days vs. at home, which I think says a ton!
