Great hardware store. Friendly and fast.
Good spot for Benjamin Moore paint. Only store that still gives free paint stirrers with every paint purchase. Plus refunds paint samples when buying a gallon!

We’ve been going here for over 25 years and even though we have moved to another town, we still make the trip since they have a great staff — always very helpful, friendly and personable. We like having real people help us with our DIY questions and recommendations. Much better than the big box hardware chains and better for the environment than internet ordering!! Prices are good, too!

My favorite local hardware store by a mile; the guys there are so knowledgeable and always ready to help - they’ll never let you leave without exactly what you need, or the name/number of the next best place to find what you need. The ONLY local hardware store left in the neighborhood, actually. Well worth supporting for all your home care (and small local business) needs.

American Royal Hardware is hands-down one of the best local hardware stores around. Every time we stop in whether it’s for a specific part, a tool we can’t find anywhere else, or just some expert advice they never disappoint. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. They’ve saved us so much time by quickly finding what we need, even when the big chain stores didn’t have it or couldn’t help. It’s the kind of local business that truly cares about its customers. We’re lucky to have them in the community!

Everyone at this shop is so sweet! I love coming here mostly because of the warm customer service and I always find what I need and learn something new.
I'm not tool/hardware savy but the folks at American Hardware always leave me feeling well equipped to handle my own small home repairs and projects from unclogging a drain to varnishing furniture, and much more. I feel like I get a little lesson every time I go in to buy something. Thank you!

I live equidistant to Home Depot and American Royal Hardware, but I always go to these guys. It's small so I don't have to walk a million miles and spend half a day trying to find things. Parking is convenient and, I can even stop go get some food or coffee at some of the places on the street while I'm there. The service is great and the prices are competitive. Ultimately it's about the service, though. You simply can't find a lot of places like this anymore. I don't have to look for help; help just magically appears!
