Watchung Booksellers is a great local independent bookstore. It is the kind of bookstore you only see in TV shows or read about in cozy fiction stories, a place of small town magic. The store is small and cozy, so perfect and well laid out with shelves of books and things book lovers love. The assortment and variety of books is unbelievable, with personalized and considered choices often not found on mass market lists. If they do not have a specific book, the staff can almost always get it. The staff is beyond unbelievable, very friendly, kind, engaging, and helpful. They are filled with a love for what they do and offer excellent recommendations. It feels like a giant book family. It is also a wonderful place for children, with a special children’s location. It is an ideal spot to find a special gift or a gift card. Customers can pre-order books both in person and online for timely arrival. It is a favorite destination where many now get all their books.
If you like books, this is a fantastic bookstore. Wide variety of topics and if they don't have it they can get.

I support local book stores! It’s small and cozy, the staff is helpful, & there is a good variety of books all neatly organized. I’ve pre-ordered several books from here both in person & online. They’ve all arrived within a reasonable time.
