This cvs has not too many employees working as many cvs now days. The place is clean and has what you need. Staff are friendly enough, they do have self service, pharmacy is good.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and never ever encountered a rude, unprofessional pharmacist like Hany Boutros. It blows my mind that someone like this can hold an important job such as a pharmacist who has to deal with customers. More than once I have asked a question and he is beyond rude and obnoxious each time.

I cannot begin to explain the negative experience I just had CVS pharmacy in Montvale, NJ. I went to pick up my husband and my daughter’s prescriptions. When giving my daughters name the woman, Adela, so rudely cut me off mid spelling asking for her birthday. She continued to rudely ask me questions and then told me my daughter’s prescription was not due for a refill. I told her the doctor said it was ready, and she told me, “Well it’s not, what’s the next name.” After speaking so poorly to a customer I asked for her name… she ignored me until I had to ask two more times. CVS should hire people who are kind and friendly because I will never return if this woman is there. For someone that gives out medication to people that she has no idea what they are going through, she sure should get an attitude check… Do better CVS, you have a bunch of comments on how the staff is unfriendly !

Just dealt with a very rude Indian lady at the pharmacy who has 0 patience. I'd like to mention before I start this off that i'm autistic and have a lot of anxiety when having to talk to people. Same as the other replies that dealt with a "rude" lady. I called to ask about a script I ordered online that gets ordered to CVS, since I was having an issue with the online service. She was very short and impatient with me as soon as she picked up, not even letting me explain why I called. Immediately getting the sort of vibe of her personality, I started giving flat replies because why am I going to keep be nice to someone who isn't being respectful to me? So then, she ended up having to ask me why I called, so she wasted both our time shutting me up in the start by not letting me initially explain why I called! Towards the end of my call, she literally told me in a hostile/annoyed tone after finally explaining why I called. "This isn't our problem, there is no script for you go to the person you called" Oh yeah, she also kept asking me over and over again the name of the company I ordered through (Wisp). I didn't get annoyed at her for repetitively asking me, yet she had 0 patience for me. I told her right before I hung up (in now a more hostile tone) "you don't have to be so rude to me. I was just calling to see if there was a chance this script got filled or not, goodbye." Just gave her back a nice dose of the tone she gave me. I cried after I hung up because this stressed me out. I somehow managed to stay strong and not cry when she picked up the phone initially. I think the power of the pain my UTI is giving me right now gave me a thicker skin I normally don't have. I was literally just checking to see if by chance there was still a script so I wouldn't have to get driven all the way to the pharmacy. I hope more people address this person. I've also gotten an impatient /standoffish man in the past, not as rude but still, why? Please stop hiring rude people CVS, especially for people that have special needs. While my autism isn't high functioning, we need people who are patient to deal with those who are higher functioning or have any sort of special needs. It's disgusting to treat people this way.

I just picked up some medicine from Montvale Cvs, and I always have a Russian old lady...she is so rude. Whenever I go, I come because I feel bad.I went to pick up the medicine a while ago, but she just standing still. So how much am I? I asked her, and she said I had to wait for proof. Shouldn't she explain it to the waiting customer?Why do CVS keep using that old lady? Without fired? It's really weird!!!

Park Ridge NJ CVS is well stocked, super clean and organized and the staff are all very polite and helpful.

I am not the one to come in and mess someone’s life and career up. However, if I wrote in detail my experience with the pharmacy I feel as if it would put someone in trouble. Very unkind and unfriendly. I was embarrassed today and did nothing but ask for clarification.

I am so incredibly disappointed at this CVS' hold time. I swear every time I call its as if no one works there. I usually wait over 20/30 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I go through the hold music countless times, not to mention the song basically puts me to sleep. Do better. My time is valuable and as a large corporation I would expect that to be respected. Unbelievable.

Unfriendly staff often to the point of being nasty if you question them. My prescriptions are never ready on the day they are called in even if ordered in the morning. On one occasion I stopped by to pick up a prescription at about 5 PM. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I stopped by about 25 minutes later. Not only was my prescription not ready but the same person who told me it would be ready in 15 minutes looked me right in the eye and, with a nasty tone, said she never told me that. This sort of thing has become common when I stop here. I have been having my prescriptions filled here for many years but it seems to me it's time to make a change.

I guess I'm surprised by the other reviews on here. Came to specifically commend the staff at this CVS pharmacy for always being attentive and caring. I have trouble with my Rx insurance almost every month and the staff here have always been sympathetic, even when there's nothing they can do for me. I'm sure there's not much they can do about being short staffed, like many other industries at the moment so anyone complaining of the wait, please be patient! Anyway, thank you to the pharmacy staff for your kindness and patience with my Rx issues!!
