yum yum this was a great last minute choice.. been wanting to try this spot for some time now. we started with the french fries, meatballs and the lolipop chicken.. all REALLY good! I the. got some sushi, the salmon roll and coconut shrimp roll. they were not terrible but just not my cup of tea. we also got a cheese burger with baked potatoe, super yummy! we ended with the chocolate lava cake, also very good. over all will definitely be back again, the vibe was great. our server, Billy was absolutely wonderful! so pleasant & knowledgeable of the menu, which I greatly appreciate:-)

Tens across the board! This place beat all of my expectations. I came here for dinner with my boyfriend on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The live DJ was playing great music and people were dancing right in front of the door. We ordered margaritas which were perfect, my boyfriend ordered a seafood dish and I had Branzino with crab on top. The food was to die for, everything was delicious and perfectly made. On top of the great food, drinks, and DJ, the staff was amazing! The host at the front greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. Our original server was so attentive and nice, they switched toward the end of the night, and the second was great too. As soon as she started she went to each table to asks if we were ok and wanted more drinks. This place is setting the bar high.

I had a baby shower for my daughter. Josh, Patrick and Caroline were wonderful to coordinate with. Oliver and Monica were "requested" awesome servers and catered very closely to our needs that day from the moment we got there. Constantly checking with myself and Mom-to-be AND guests to be sure we had everything we needed at all times. Mimosas and drinks were always at hand for all. Buffet Brunch included the mimosas drink pkg. Everyone raved over the selection and food was delicious. Restaurant venue atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. I wish this restaurant was closer to me. Would definitely frequent it. Request Oliver and Monica for your special day! They are the best!

Food is ok. People are nice but bartenders are arrogant. Drinks are overpriced and not good.

I think my only real problem with this place is that we always get sat very far in the back and my father-in-law is 82 so it's a long walk for him and it's also very loud and so we can't hear him. Otherwise we keep coming back and the food is delicious.

This experience was incredibly disappointing. It is located in a hotel parking lot. The interior restaurant decor was nice, but the tabletops looked so run down. It would’ve definitely been nicer to have a tablecloth to hide all of the wear and scratched off finish on the table. They have a decent sized cocktail, beer and wine menu. The water service was excellent. The staff filled up your glasses (and provided lemons and paper straws) without asking. They didn’t rush the group which is helpful when meeting up with friends you haven’t seen in a long time. However, when you go out to dinner, you want to enjoy your meal. The appetizers of calamari and bbq chicken lollipops were good. Our entrees, though, were subpar. The sesame tuna salad had a poor presentation and seemed to be thrown together with not many toppings (served with a 1/4 of a small avocado). Another guest in my party ordered the seafood platter with lobster, shrimp, scallops, swordfish and muscles. The shrimp was chewy and the sauce didn’t have much taste. Definitely was not worth the price. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

This time I had dinner and went home quite satisfied. I wanted sushi and my wife wanted something meatier, so Fire and Oak was the best choice. I was not sure how many rolls would be too many. Well it turns out the answer is three. Mystery solved. The spicy tuna and volcano rolls were quite good. The volcano roll was still warm when it hit the table, only making it taste better! I was less impressed with the rainbow roll though. It was bland and if anything tasted fishy. Should have skipped that one. We were happy to see a mocktail on the menu (not for me of course, I had something off the seasonal list). Oh and I can't forget our oyster appetizer! All were fresh and the accompanying sauces were great. A must if you like oysters. All in all we had a fine date night in the intimate setting Fire and Oak provides. They pulled off having a large space to fit many people while still setting the mood with dimmed lighting and tasteful decor. I definitely recommend.

We stopped by on our way down from Boston. We didn’t have reservation so we sat in a room with more lighting than expected so if you want a vibe…. make reservations. The waiter was amazing and patient. My husband ordered the hanger steak which was really good. He even said he enjoyed it more than filet mignon. I ordered a special that had all seafood which was ok. Wasn’t fond of the red sauce or the taste of the shrimp. It did bring enough seafood though. The rainbow sushi was really good. Overall ok experience. We have a fire and oak in Jersey city that we’ve been too before and enjoyed.

Nice location and atmosphere. Service was good. Calamari appetizer was very good. Main course we had the cabernet braised short rib of beef that came with mascarpone polenta. The portions were very generous but the short rib was dry and tough and the polenta was grainy and flavorless. Will come back and give it another try.

Food was great, servers were very nice and attentive. We were there on time for an 8pm reservation but had to wait until 8:15-8:20 to be seated, which wasn't ideal but not a huge deal. I know food isn't cheap but I was surprised to be charged $18 for an order of truffle fries - that seems excessive. Overall another good dinner and we will return again.
