I highly recommend this auto repair shop! The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is exceptional. I spoke with Stephen about fixing my windshield wiper, and even though he was fully booked, he still found time to accommodate me. I also asked him to install a headlight bulb I bought from Amazon, but it turned out to be defective. Despite the time he spent on it, he didn't charge me at all. You can really see his integrity and strong work ethic. I know very little about cars, but I felt confident that he wouldn't take advantage of me. I wish everyone had the same values as him!.

Steve was a pleasure to work with, communicative throughout, and pricing was great. I had 2 tough to remove stripped bolts on an expensive wing on my car. Another shop didn’t want to risk it, but he got it done no problem and did a great job. Top notch all around.

I only wish I could give Steve and Montvale Auto Tech more than 5 stars! What makes Montvale Auto Tech so worthy of more than 5 stars? In short, everything about the experience. Steve is a very talented mechanic, incredibly responsive, completely honest in his assessment of what work your car needs, and absolutely more than fair in his pricing! I called because my brakes have been making a terrible noise. This noise had gone on for longer than I'd like to admit. Still, I didn't know where to take my car, especially as I have had several bad experiences with dealerships that performed unnecessary work at a very inflated price. When I read Steve's reviews, I decided to make an appointment.
He immediately identified the problem, keeping me in the loop by texting me photos and describing what he had found. When I went to pick up my car, I was secretly holding my breath, trying not to obsess about what this would cost. There was no need to worry, as Steve's prices are more than fair. I have paid far more for smaller problems at other establishments. And, finally, he is a really nice person who is a pleasure to work with!
I have been so stressed about my car issues, and I am so thrilled to have found a place to take my car where I have absolute faith in the quality of the work and the honesty of the owner!

Steve from Montvale Auto-Tech has been my savior more than once, this month alone with a tricky alternator/battery situation. And today he took time out of his busy morning schedule to help me with an unexpected tire blow-out that would have left me waiting hours for roadside assistance (we couldn't get the nuts to budge). These guys fix the problems professionally and at reasonable prices. My last mechanic wanted to charge me $1000+ to replace parts that the car didn't even need. I took it to Montvale Auto Tech and they diagnosed and fixed the problem for less than half of what I was quoted for at the other mechanic. I've gotten exhaust work, suspension work, transmission work and regular maintenance all done here and its always professional and reasonable. These guys know how to work on cars and treat their customers right.
