Shipping clerk name HINA was terribly rude on more than one occasion, she hates to see more than one package in someone’s hands ! Pushes people with her made up rules that doesn’t even make sense , I can’t believe someone like this holds a job! There is other usps locations close by avoid this people!

This place was alright…I had an appointment with my husband and myself for passport application and renewal. Went to renew mine. Didn’t seem to have issues. But just received a letter in the mail a week later stating they were not able to process my application renewal because they didn’t have my current passport. I literally had the passport with me at the appointment and the lady at the counter handed it back to me and told me she didn’t need it. Obviously they do not know what is really needed for passport applications. So annoying I have to go through this process all over again because of their mistake.

This place deserves a negative star review. Despite 100s of complaints against Gauri who is racist, disrespectful and beyond unprofessional, usps continues to keep her employed. the locals of this area are tired of complaining about her. Save yourself the pain and go to another location.

I have been here multiple times, and this is hands up the best post office. I drive 20 minutes to come do what I need to do here, instead of going to where I live in Newark, NJ where they are rude, nasty and make you wait too long.

I am at this Post Office almost every day to ship my eBay Packages from my eBay Shop. Both Gauri and Mr. Patel are always Friendly/Smiling/Eager to Help. They are very Nice People and very Professional Employees. I am planning to keep using this location for my every day postage needs for a long time.

The experience I had with this lady was incredibly disappointing. If I could give a negative rating, I would. The Indian lady I dealt with was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I went to apply for a passport, she requested random documents that were not mentioned anywhere in the guidelines. When I politely asked her to provide supporting documentation or clarification, she avoided addressing my concerns, hid behind a wall, and left me waiting outside for 15 minutes without any explanation. The behavior was uncalled for and unacceptable.

I wish I could give a zero-star rating. The women working here on Saturday were rude, displayed racist behavior, and lacked basic customer service etiquette.
Update: I wish I could have read all the reviews here before making an appointment with this office. They are terrible employees.
I did saw some good reviews. It is amazing that they can still find a way to discriminate people who are applying passports as us citizens.

I came in for My son's (who has ASD) New Passport with Photo Services. Both the ladies at the desk were very helpful. They were very patient taking the picture for my Son who has stimming a lot. I even forgot to sign the form and got a call back immediately from them. Went back in and signed it. I had lot of anxiety going in with my son and the whole process just took 5 to 10 minutes.

I seriously don’t get it sometimes - why is the Indian lady named Gauri allowed to even work here with her attitude?!?! She is so nasty and the complete opposite of what customer service should be. Look, I get it - this is USPS and I don’t really expect to get pampered here. But I greeted her with a “hello” and she just stared back at me as though she had no idea what it meant. Extremely rude and unhelpful. God forbid you ask her a question and she will give you the stare of death. So please don’t expect this from her or even bother asking any questions. Not to mention that I asked her to use a sharpie to write the address down and the look and response she gave me was as though she was paying for the sharpie out of her own pocket!!
She’s been there for years and it’s been the same nasty attitude all the time. Let me remind you, you’re getting paid (with extremely good benefits) to work there and we as customers are paying YOU to ship our products. You’re not doing us a favor by being there.
Anyone else who has an ounce of customer service experience would work there happily with what she is getting paid and the benefits. She Really needs to get fired or at the very least trained with some customer service.
Also, when I went there the place was empty with not a single customer so it’s not like she was overwhelmed with work or customers.

I have a small online business and I come here almost 3 days a week to ship out my products. They have the best customer service- always smiling, kind and helpful whenever I come in. Never once have I had a bad experience here.

Clifton passport post office need to be educated the way they do thing , this little place in montville it’s awesome cool and well educated ?? 100 % recommend full help in every way with my passport !!!

I went in to mail out my passport and the gentleman at the counter was very very helpful and kind! Greeted us promptly and was very polite, made the whole process easier for me.

Worst type of service ever. The lady who is there Saturday mornings has zero customer etiquete. The post master had told me to go this morning to process a passport application and we had all the paperwork ready since we were there before and were just missing I’m one document. The lady working this morning refused me. She kept telling me she didn’t have to give me explanations and talked to my husband and I extremely poor. She was upset because she had a lot to do but I was told by the post master to go in today. I honestly can’t believe how nasty she reacted. It left me speechless.The post master had been extremely helpful and professional the first time we went but I will never go there again after being treated like this.There shouldn’t be nasty people working on a job like this
