Lew’s Farm Market is a beloved local spot known for its fresh produce, plants, and friendly service. Owned by the family of Lew Hart, the farm market offers a wide variety of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and plants, making it a great place for quick shopping or special ingredients. Visitors often find the corn on the cob to be the best in New Jersey, along with sweet yellow seedless watermelons available at the end of July, along with peaches, cherries, plums, blueberries, and peppers. The market is also a charming, old-fashioned side-of-the-road stand that brings a nostalgic feel, perfect for supporting small businesses and local farmers. The staff is described as courteous, professional, and resourceful, although some reviews suggest there is room for improvement. Customers appreciate the fair prices, especially on flowers and plants, with some items costing as little as $1.50 per pack. Many visitors enjoy the opportunity to see farm animals like chicks, ducks, and bunnies, adding to the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. The market is a favorite summertime destination for produce, supporting local agriculture, and even offers family discounts for regular shoppers. Overall, Lew’s Farm Market is a convenient, welcoming place to buy fresh, local products and enjoy a bit of farm life close to home.
