I purchase baseball cards quite frequently at online estate auctions. This was my first time doing so through this auction house. I usually trust the auction platforms to vet these companies (LiveAuctioneers, HiBid, etc.) - that’s a mistake that is now being confirmed by the sheer volume of terrible reviews for this auction company. After receiving an invoice for $16.00 to ship an item (20 baseball cards) that costs $4.50, I told them I’d send them my own shipping label. Label was sent - 14 days later it was picked up by USPS. It arrived in a non descript box. Fine. Usually, auction houses and any seller for that matter will package cards to protect the cards, usually with cardboard or in a plastic bag or something. These cards were simply put in the box, bent around each other, stuffed underneath packing peanuts. Creased, scuffed, most of them ruined. Truly an incomprehensible way to conduct business, if part of your business is selling collectibles. Absolutely do not purchase items from this company.

Buyers & Estate Owners BEWARE! Exactly one year ago I made the mistake of enlisting the services of Emanon Auctions & Estate Sales, LLC to assist in liquidating two storage units. I reposed a degree of trust in this business, and followed the directions of the owner (John Marko). Here is where it got me: Emanon did remove the contents of my two storage units. There were two full storage units that contained the contents of a four bedroom home that belonged to my late wife and I that was recently sold. John said that Emanon was supposed to get all the merchandise back to his warehouse, sort it all out and then list everything for sale before putting it all up for auction within six to eight weeks. He specified that all merchandise would be listed for auction, but not without my knowledge or consent, in case I wanted to retain a particular item. LIE! None of this occurred as he stated. A month passed without me hearing a word from John Marko or anyone at Emanon. I kept my eye on the Live Auctioneers website and much to my surprise, John was putting items up for auction without making any mention of it to me. I tried to contact him via mobile phone, text and email. All to no avail. I continuously got his VM. He did everything to avoid any form of direct communication. All I could do was leave voicemail messages. I sent detailed texts and emails, and out of all them, not one received a reply of acknowledgment. In a nutshell, John stole the estate of an entire four bedroom house from me and my late wife. To date, I have still not received anything from Emanon. I did check out some of their reviews prior to retaining them, but most of the negative reviews were primarily related to buyers that had issues with sales gone wrong, or shipment issues. I hadn’t seen anything pertaining to estate owners having been flat-out lied to and taken advantage of. If John or Tracy have done this once, it has been done before. If you are reading this, and similar circumstances with Emanon Auctions and Estates Sales have happened to you, please contact the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General - Division of Consumer Affairs Office and/or Better Business Bureau. Complaints are pending.

We had John and his crew empty my parents home with 51 yrs worth of stuff. I was told the items we were going to put through the auction were going to be inventoried, listed and we would get a link to the auction. That never happened and I can't get any information from him or Marat who handled the cleanout in July/August 2022. It's now April and we still have not received ANYTHING FROM THEM REGARDING THE AUCTION!!! my brother is now going to file a complaint and theft report unless we hear something by May 1st 2023

I have been purchasing from Emanon Auctions for about 3 years and I probably won about 25 lots over this time period. John and the rest of the people I dealt with have always been kind. There has never been a problem resolving an issue with a purchase. My advice would be the same with any online auction. If you see something you like, inspect the image well, ask questions, and bid according to what you see/know about the item. Do not bid on what you think you might see/know. If you are not confident in an item, bid low and take the risk or skip it and move on.

John will take your goods and send you a $55 check for your items worth thousands of dollars. Police are now alerted.

They never reply. Took my money, shipped the item to the wrong person but will not refund it because "they are trying to get the item back".Never deal with them.

These people are shysters. They put up one photo and no description. They will not usually call out any damage. You bid at your own risk. They act like they are doing you a favor for buying from them. The owner John is the nastiest person I have EVER dealt with. If you aren't able to pick up your items on the day they tell you to, you are SOL. They will not do anything to accommodate you, and will not give you your money back either! THIEVES. Zero stars. A MUST TO AVOID.

John Marko, the owner of the company, literally stole my belonging. I gave him several pieces of furniture to sell in auction and haven’t heard back from him in over 8 months.I have repeatedly called and texted him without any reply. This guy is ghosting me. I will be filing thief charges against him in the coming days. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

NEVER RECEIVED ITEMS PAID FOR -- Scam outfit lists ONLINE auctions at LiveAuctioneers. I won 3 pieces of Revere Ware cookware for $92 but paid total of $124.63. That was two months ago. Never received items. Now I am told I must go to NJ to pick up the cookware. I live in Arkansas. WHAT A SCAM!

Horrible communication. Have to email multiple times to receive a response. Outrageous local shipping fees. Something that costs $3.75 to mail , they charge $15. I won 2 items, was sick so couldn’t pick them up, asked to combine shipping, after a few times sending emails asking about combining shipping finally received a response that she will check. Only other thing I ever received back were 2 separate invoices for rip off shipping. I paid for my item but she can keep it after not responding and sending me another shipping invoice. Don’t even work with their customers and they ignore them.
