“I came into the shop at the recommendation of my high school automotives teacher and let me just say I was very pleased with experience. I’m a newly licensed driver that just purchased my first vehicle and I was admittedly anxious bringing my car in but the customer service was top notch and I was immediately put at ease. Everyone was very friendly and explained everything very clearly. I had a state inspection done and the cost was reasonable and they also let me know that I would need a new tire pressure sensor which I could get installed when I get a new set of tires. When I was finally referred to Leo at Matawan Auto, he gave me a great price, was able to get my car right in, and got the job done very quickly. All the while I had a feeling that they were a professional company and not somebody trying to scam me like the other places. It was such a relief to feel like my car was in a shop that I knew was taking good care of me. Due to the fact of having to have such expensive work done I was very stressed out when I found Matawan Auto, but they put me right at ease by giving me the impression that they knew what they were doing, and they delivered. My car is now running fine and I have Leo and the crew at Matawan Auto to thank.”

“Top tier gasoline with lowest price gains its 5 stars! Though always long lines reduces 1 star.It seems one staff is responsible 3 to 4 stations, which they constantly work on transaction, pumping gas, operating keypads, directing and position cars to their stations... as they are very busy, drivers are usually patiently waiting for the staffs to get to them.I guess for the 5-star reason mentioned previously, all drivers are willing to wait...(?) We arrived around 10:05am on an ordinary Monday, and by the time we left it was 10:39am; and my husband wasn't any unhappy about it because with Costco's gasoline cash back program, his total out-of-pocket was $3.85/gal Verdict: 4 stars”
