Been coming here 10 years with our oldest dog Molly and we also bring our other dog Daphne here. Highly recommend. Professional, will squeeze you in and they try to be cost conscious whenever possible.

The entire team at ACMP is just wonderful. I took my cockatiel to Dr. Paul for most of his life for both care and boarding. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Paul was his primary caregiver, but I always liked there was a second aviary specialist available in case he wasn't available. They always took great care with my special boy and when the end of his life came, they treated him with love and were very understanding of our feelings. They grieved with us. They knew us as soon as we walked in and I never worried about his care when we boarded him at their location. If I ever decide to own another pet, they will definitely be our veterinarian.

Can't give enough thanks to Dr. Powell and the nurses who helped me get my bearded dragon Eleanor back to healthy after catching a small respiratory infection. Dr. Powell was very thorough and reassuring in the way he handled and took care of her. The end bill was very affordable for the treatment she received. This team really shows that they care!

The staff clearly love our pets just like we do, makes it easy to trust both the medical recommendations and care during boarding

I've had pets my whole life. Cats, Dogs, Birds, & Snakes to be exact. I find that life is so much better when you can share it with a loving pet. You not only enhance their lives but I believe this relationship has so many mutual benefits that it's totally impossible for me to express with words here. As a responsible pet owner, the need for a consistently reliable veterinarian clinic is key for keeping your loving pets healthy. And this is why I rely on the Animal Clinic Of Morris Plains to take care of all my Furry & Feathery Family Members. You'll find a very knowledgeable and friendly team of veterinarians and a pleasant assisting staff who are always very professional. I once needed emergency care for one of my Lovebirds and they took us right in even when business hours were closed. There isn't any other place around that will offer that kind of service, believe me. The Animal Clinic also offers boarding services and they're the official wild animal sanctuary for all of our local wildlife. If you happen to come across a wild animal in distress or in need of assistance, this is the place you need to contact. Even the Wild Ones Need Love Too.

We had 6 animals and all have been well taken care of at the clinic. They were there for us when it was time for us to send our furry family to heaven and cared for the others when they needed help without running a huge bill up.

STAY AWAY - they left a drill bit in my dogs mouth after extracting a tooth and seem to think that's fine. The office manager is d*** and just makes up excuses as she speaks including that she called another vet who told them it's ok to leave the drill bit in her mouth. We called multiple vets and for other opinions and ALL said it needs to come out because it can cause even bigger issues. These people are insane and just want to make a penny.

the staff is rude, no one takes the time to say hello as you walk in or ask you about your pet and the service is overpriced. I would not recommend this place, especially because there's many other vets in the area to choose from.

It is not easy to find a hospital where exotic animals are treated. Animal Clinic of Morris Plains is the one. Dr. Paul Sedlaceck, its owner, is a great Doctor who have gotten into the medical profession for all the right reasons. His clinic treats wild life for free - how many vets would do that? Dr. Sedlaceck has been taking care of our ferrets for 4 years, even performed one surgery. Everything went well so far. He is kind, caring, competent and responsive. In case of possible emergency he returns my calls in 5 minutes, even after hours. I wish my PCP was that good:)

I found this place through a search, looking for a vet who specializes in exotic pets (we have guinea pigs). The first time one of our piggies were sick I ended up using a closer vet that apparently had experience with exotic pets; my less-than-impressed experience caused me to drive the extra distance to try Animal clinic of Morris Plains. I am so glad I did!! The vet (Dr. Robinson was WAY more knowledgeable)!! She didn't prescribe generic medication (for cats) like the other place did. This made me 100% more comfortable with my piggies treatment. The vet bill was about 20% less than the place closer to me and they didn't try to hound me about getting dental work done on my piggie (like the other place did). I ended up having to bring my piggie back in (her respiratory infection was too tough to kick) and they kept her over the weekend. Anytime I called for an update the vets who I spoke to were very friendly and I did not feel rushed in our convos. Their charges are reasonable. This is a place that cares more about your pet than making a huge profit. I will never take my piggies anywhere else!!!!!

I took my cat here on a Sunday because he ate balloon ribbon and was throwing it up. They took me in promptly, and did an x ray right away. Dr. Alli explained the x ray to me and that they were going to do an ultrasound before surgery to make sure that it was a string in his small intestine. She said she would call me within 4-6 hours to let me know the results. 7 hours later, I hadn't heard so I tried calling back and got the answering service because it was past 12pm on a Sunday. The answering service was horribly unprofessional, she hung up on me. I had no choice but to go to the vet because no one informed me that my cat needed to stay the night. The best thing about this practice is Lauren (I think her name is, blonde hair, works in the evening) who listened to my problem, let me in, called the doctor, and let me see my cat. You can definitely tell when people get into this type of work because they actually care about animals and people who just do it for a paycheck. She was really awesome and I'm so thankful for her. The vet said they didn't see an obstruction and my cat didn't need surgery. I was also very thankful that they didn't perform an unnecessary surgery on my cat. But they proceeded to keep him overnight on fluids anyway, and then kept him all day until 4:30 pm the next day with little communication to me on why he was still there. Overall, communication needs to be improved but I gave 3 stars because I thought they look good care of my cat. I just don't think I would go back because this didn't need to be as stressful and messy as it was.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!! I had been taking my family dog to this vet for a few years. His health began to decline and, as any pet owner would, I took him in. I was told it was just an allergy, and was prescribed medicine. Medicine was not working- dog continued to scratch his paws bloody and had to wear a cone on his head for weeks (that turned into MONTHS). I repeatedly took him back to the vet and was CONTINUOUSLY told, for months, to be "compliant" and that he would probably have to be on this medication for the rest of his life (although there was absolutely no change- MEDICINE WAS NOT WORKING!!?) After over three+ months of this, I took my dog to another vet. This vet IMMEDIATELY told me it was NOT in fact said "allergy", and my dog's liver was failing, and he may only survive a few more months. Second opinion was able to give me medication that actually worked, and I was able to remove the cone from my dog's head to make him more comfortable almost immediately. I am outraged at the care that was given, and the lack of sympathy upon realization of incorrect diagnosis. The vet I currently take him to is much more knowledgeable, compassionate, and a far better option than this establishment. I do understand that mistakes happen, and that it could PERHAPS have been an allergy, but why continue for months and months to CHARGE me for medication that is quite OBVIOUSLY not working??!! Not even try to see if something else was wrong?? As my dog bit himself bloody daily and was not able to have his cone off for months!! Sounds like money is the motive here.. Please go somewhere else - I love animals and would hate for this to happen to others!!

Staff is cheerful and professional. Dr. Paul is absolutely amazing! He is knowledgeable, gentle and treats both pets and owners with respect. The office atmosphere is one of compassion, and the staff accommodates emergency situations. Truly an office to consider when choosing a doctor for your pets!! I highly recommend Animal Clinic of Morris Plains!!
