This place is gross. Super messy and dirty. Check the expiration dates on the meats and cheeses - half the things I picked up were already expired. No cashiers, only self checkout.

I always enjoy my visits to Lidl. I love the fresh bakery items and the access to well-priced German confections.

More recently, there was a big difference between what was advertised and what was in the store.

It's Sunday at 4:30pm. Not one cashier opened. Self checkout is open with the attendant looking at his phone then walking over to speak with a fellow employee. Being the scanners are always dirty, it's annoying to try and scan some items. The attendant did come over to help us twice. By the third time I gave up. I was ready to walk out without the items. The attendant came over again and I stated why can't there be some cashiers open? His pompous self said there are 2. I said when I first came over to the dirty self checkout thete weren't any. I would have gone to one of them. Please clean the dirty scanners once in a while. They frequently are dirty! I have to ring my items up and bag them. Lidls can clean the scanners!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I love their bakery department and their private label products. I hope they bring more German favorites in the future. They also have a rotation of hardware and home goods. Lidl markets have a small footprint but they carry a good selection of the basics at great prices.

While I really enjoyed other Lidl locations for a few years for its value, this one has been a headache. A few months ago I shopped here with my infant in a stroller and did a solid week's worth of grocery shopping. At the checkout area there was zero registers open with cashiers, only self check out lanes. So I stood and scanned over 50 items into a small area designed for probably 10 items and then had to painstakingly self bag from the mountain of groceries. I was very bitter about it and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was incredibly apologetic, explained he was new and this was a bewildering policy set up be a higher manager. He told me to call corporate and inform them. He said in the future I could request a register with a cashier. I then called the corporate Lidl number and they told me there is no policy nor should there be any local policy for only having self check out only.
After several months I was back in the area and decided to visit this location again. Surprise surprise, only self check out was available. As previously told, I asked for a register to be open but was told they wouldn't be able to do that for me. I was upset when I left so I called the corporate number to complain but they removed the ability to speak to anyone about any customer experiences.
I'm done with Lidl as a result. What a joke to have such an expansive grocery store and only allow self checkout.
