Amazing place for a family to spend a beautiful day. Clean and beautiful farm with very attentive farmers. Lots of activities for kids to do. We had a great day. Our kids didn’t want to leave the farm. We promised we will bring them again. Thank you to the farmers there for your amazing job.

Let me start this review by saying, that you HAVE TO experience this site. This historical farm has so many things to do. First, the admission, $5.00, is a bargain. Before you even start with the outdoor adventure, the main building has artifacts and history information from the area. Take note.... we went on Saturday and they had two tour times....11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.When you go outside, you'll walk down to the first area......a vast garden, which holds many types of vegetables. Justin, the gardener, graciously told us the history of the garden and how this area persevered through world wars. We moved onto all of the animals. You will see, and also interact, with horses, goats, sheep, piglets, chickens, ducks, and cows. We then moved onto our 2:00 PM tour. We met Vinny..... an exceptional, knowledgeable, and humorous guide. The tour took us through most of the mansion, interior and exterior. The facts about the families, furniture, clothing, and customs were so fascinating. Vinny allowed plenty of time for pictures and took his time in every room. I cannot recommend this farm, enough. The hours that you will spend here will be well worth your time and make sure that you take in every available encounter.

My sons and I recently visited Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, and we had a wonderful time! One of the things we enjoyed most was seeing all the farm animals up close. My sons were fascinated by the cows, sheep, and chickens, and we even got to see some horses too! It was great to learn about how the animals are cared for and the different roles they play on the farm.Another highlight of our visit was watching the demonstrations of various farm activities. We got to see how crops are planted and harvested, and we even learned how to make butter and cheese! The staff and volunteers were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure that we had a great experience. We also enjoyed exploring the historic buildings on the property, especially the Willows Mansion. It was amazing to see how people lived and worked on the farm over a century ago, and we learned a lot about the history of the property.Overall, we had a fantastic time at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, and we highly recommend it to other families. It's a great place to learn about history, agriculture, and animal care, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. We can't wait to visit again!

This is an amazing establishment for all age groups. A historical farm in Morristown offers so much. There is a museum-style aspect, activities, and a lot of opportunities to interact with animals living on the farm.Everyone working here has been warm and welcoming. They also have amazing events available to her public including holiday style events and nature oriented gatherings. I have attended a Halloween scavenger hunt here and was so impressed with the variety activities and entertainment offered by the farm. I recommending getting a membership here as there is a plethora of events to attend and things to do. It's also beautiful in every season!

This place was absolutely beautiful. So much history. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. They wore clothing from 18 and 17 hundreds. The animals were well cared for and so friendly. We dyed silk and spun yarn and toured the homes and walked the property and picked pumpkins and pressed cider. We had such a lovely time. I would definitely recommend and do this again.

Nice location. Nice to be able to pay ahead on-line. Easy parking with enough attendants to make sure parking went smoothly and no rows were too close. The organizers ensured the lines into the event moved quickly. We liked how the layout was set up. All the vendors had nice staff. If we had questions they had answers. The only issue we had was that everyone had to squeeze through everyone else to get to each sample table. I suppose this is the norm for this type of event.

I visited the Willow which is the house of Fopsterfield on a rainy day. This house was purchased by Charles Foster from the grandson of Paul Revere. It's fascinating to see Gothic architecture and furnishings which have been maintained by this historic preservation group. To see how the Fosters lived and to see the impressive view of the farm from the porch is breathtaking. Definitely visit this farm if you are visiting the Morristown NJ area. There are a activities that young children can enjoy as well.

Great place to enjoy with the family, my son is 2 and he loves animals, he had a great day. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they are available at all times to explain about animals and other attractions in the farm. They even gave my son corn to feed the chickens.

Worth checking out, fun for the whole family. The kids loved all of the animals, and learned a lot from the people who take care of them. I really enjoyed the blacksmith.
