I just picked up 3 organic Thanksgiving turkeys from King's. I ordered them in advance and specifically asked if they were frozen - I was told they were NOT. The turkeys are FROZEN and I need them for tomorrow. When I called and spoke to the meat department they told me to thaw them overnight on the counter or return them. I checked the thawing advice I was given and found that this isn't a safe way to thaw turkey. I gave them 1 star because I couldn't post with zero stars.

Pretty run down. People don’t want to help, expiration dates are more of a guideline than a rule. Time it closes down.

I love shopping here. But it's absolutely the most expensive grocery store in the tri state area. It's significantly more expensive than even Whole Foods. I like it because it's small. They make good things in house. But I always get so confused as to how they make any money. Example: $12 for 1/4 of a wrapped organic watermelon. $2.49 for 1** large Navel Orange. $6-7 for a pound of cherries -- a bag is always like 2 - 2.5 lbs. so for a bag of cherries you're paying $12-14 $8 bucks of a slice of cheesecake - yep. ONE SLICE. Eggs that cost $12-14 for a dozen $5+ for a box of 3 packs of like Orville or whatever popcorn. $3 for 1 gallon of water $12-14 for a 12 pack of soda cans. It's INSANE I'd have given 5 stars if not for the prices. It's unsustainable. They won't be around much longer. The original and much more popular store in Bernardsville, NJ was closed several yrs ago for this very reason

Ever since Kings was purchased by Albertsons the prices have gone up and the quality had gone down. And they have special deals that you can only access via an app that never works. I feel sorry for the people who work there as they seem demoralized - except for the fish guy who makes drug references with every purchase. Not sure if he has a side gig in dealing drugs or if he's just weird but it is very off putting. I'm going to take my business elsewhere from now on .

Like all Kings, prices can be amusingly/stupidly high on many things. The store is neat, clean, smells and looks great and has friendly staff. The one thing that amazes me is that they only have one restroom for guests and staff alike. This place needs at least two and I'm shocked they don't have that.

Somewhat disappointed when I was made to re-pay in store for an online order. Online response from Kings expressed regret, but it seems like I have to go through credit card company.

Buyer beware of price gouging. So I always stay away from Kings grapes because 5.99/lb is not marketprice for grapes. But laltely Kings has been selling them for 1.99 at the front of the store. The customer in front of me complained that entering her member number never yields savings anymore. I thought wow she must be missing all the great sales in the store. Whelp nope that was not it I would find out. My cashier kindly warned Id be paying $15 for grapes and I pointed her to the sale sign and thats when I was informed. No those prices are for app users, not Kings members. You read the fine print. I prefer shopping in a store where I do not need eagle eyes and to act like a hawk with every purchase. Kings did me a favor and knocked out that convenience factor. Gourmet farms and Shoprite are convenient enough foe me. And they dont play this fine print game with their members and long time customers.

Worst place ever... not only do they charge way higher than any place around for the exact same brands and items, but they aren't nice to you when you're there! The line policed literally yelled at me about using a basket when checking out, so when I followed his instructions to get a cart instead he then yelled at me that I couldn't use the empty one I saw next to the cashier. I said why? He said "cuz" and told me to go outside and get one there. What? I think though it was the yelling at me that bothered me the most... especially considering the prices. Why would anyone go back? I'm not! Left my stuff scared and upset, and went to WF.

Disappointed disappointed, ordered a turkey swiss sub and a roast beef turkey sub fro the deli, wtf is the meat, most places give u at least a 1/4 pound of meat, at 9.99 a sandwich I received more cheese than meat, whole foods here I come. More bread and cheese for 20.00 bucks. This sandwich quanity sucked for the price.

Way over priced. Customer service is great, but prices are ridiculous. Same quality food, whether it's packaged, canned deli, bakery, etc, is overpriced compared to elsewhere. *edit Even with your discounts and coupons, you're overpriced. I tool market class I know how sales and coupon bs works. It's a con.
