Wonderful store for ideas, wide selection of Melissa and Doug, but greatly overpriced. Their annual M&D merchandise at 25% Off, is the regular price on Amazon.

Love this store. The staff is great and the selection is vast. There is a whole section of things you can buy that are blank pails, boxes, cases etc that the staff can personalize for gifts. It's a unique and awesome thing to give to a kid that "has everything"! Will keep coming back!

Great business! Really care about their customers and have the best service i've ever experienced at any learning express. 10/10 would recommend shopping here for your squish needs and for your family needs too.

The best place to buy toys and gifts for kids. They really know their stuff. Every time I go there to buy a gift, they can tell me exactly what to get with just a quick description of the child. Their recommendations are always spot on. My daughter loves to shop there and add toys to her "Birthday Bin" for friends and grandparents to come buy for her later.

What type of toy store closes at 5 PM during the week? Drove out of my way to avoid going to Walmart trying to support local/small business but the doors were locked at 5:02

Masks are required and if you ask for one they will charge you $1.The woman behind the counter is very nasty to customers. I was with my daughter and she wanted to buy a squishmallow for her and her friend so they could be twins. She was very snippy and said we only allow one per style so you need to get a different one. I told her there was no sign and that we were very disappointed. She told me to shop somewhere else. If I wasn't in a pinch for time I would have walked out. So disappointed I just drove almost an hour for this!

You won't be disappointed by this toy store's friendly staff and selection of scholarly materials. The prices are fair; and the wide array of fidget toys, games, teaching workbooks and storage bins makes this a go-to place to upgrade you fun while leveling up on leaning!Great COVID Protocols.Parking in street or alley

I can't say how much I love this store enough. A fabulous array of thoughtfully curated toys, crafts, and educational activities. Best place for gifts for kids hands down.

A friend of mine went in yesterday to buy something. They bought about 5 of the same item and there were no issues. Today she went in to get something for me and herself and was told she could only purchase one. My friend called the store before going asking if there were purchase limits or a one per person rule and was told there was not. She wouldn’t have went if there was. But once she got up to the register ready to pay the OWNER of the store was extremely rude and said there were rules and limits despite there being 0 signs in the store saying so. My friend literally called before going in asking about this exact thing and was assured there were no limits to purchasing duplicates. The owner was talking about my friend to another customer despite it being the stores fault. Super unprofessional to be talking bad about a patron while they’re still shopping and in earshot when they called before coming to ask if this was going to be a problem and they were told no.To reiterate my friend called this store asking if they had limits on purchasing duplicate items. They were assured over the phone that no such limits existed. She went in yesterday and purchased 5 of the same item with no issues. Today she went in to get two squishmallows and the owner of the store and manager had a horrendous attitude and tried yelling at her in front of other customers saying that she couldn’t purchase duplicates despite there being 0 signs in the store saying this rule and being told over the phone prior to coming in that this rule didn’t exist.Do not shop here. Customer service is horrible. Management and ownership is frighteningly bad. This is supposed to be a childrens store. I would never allow my children inside this building and i will be making sure no one i know ever shops here. Please go to literally any other learning express

Wow! The Learning Express is a family friendly, one stop shop. Being a local shop run by a local family it’s more like shopping with family. The store and owner are fantastic, they know who my kids are, what they like, and are always ready to offer suggestions or let us know when the latest toys have arrived. With the popularity of some of their items the store has become more in demand with certain communities. The store has stayed true to their roots and always been honest and fair with their customers. I am thankful for all they do and all they have done to support the community especially during the pandemic. I highly recommend shopping local and visiting the store!

Such a great store! The people who have bad experiences probably created those problems themselves, if I’m being honest. I have never had an issue with this store. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful, especially if you return that same energy. I can only wonder how the 1 star reviews treated the cashiers themselves to receive such a bad experience.

I’ll start on a positive note. I have been able to get a 5” scarlet the strawberry squishmallow and a 12” Gregory the goat squishmallow. Other than that, the employees tend to be very rude and disrespectful. If you call for availability so you don’t have to drive an hour, they are extremely snotty and tell you they can’t check and proceed to yell at you to not call again. (this was before they said not to call). You guys are literally getting paid to answer people’s questions. Do better. On another note, every time I went there, they have also been very rude. Like literally it’s a toy store, for kids and people of all ages, to buy TOYS for goodness sakes!! Just be nice. And this is exactly why I choose to drive an additional 30+ minutes to support a better learning in PA instead

The owners of this store are VERY rude & inconsiderate. Over the summer I came in for a squishmallow clip & picked out two, one for me & one for a friend. I was waiting on my friend to come to the store since it’s one per customer & I was told that I’m not allowed to “wait around.” When I went up to the counter with two of the clips the older lady who works there slammed it behind the counter & said “I’ll be taking that.” This is no way to treat a paying customer! I recently called to ask if a certain squish was still in stock at the store & I could tell right away that it was the older woman who picked up the phone. I was told that she wasn’t close enough to the squishmallows to let me know what they had & that they aren’t allowed to tell anyone what they have in stock. I even messaged them on Instagram and got ignored! Honestly I’d rather drive to the LE in PA where the owners are actually friendly, nice, & DON’T require masks for children or adults! I hope a lot of people see this review & consider doing the same.
