Not only did Greg find a compatible key replacement but he took care of emptying all the gas out so we could safely store it away & have it in prime shape whenever we need it next. I appreciated all he did & he did it in the friendliest way. Great business!”
“Nick at J&M is incredible, and it’s an understatement to say I shop here because of him. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of plants, including native plants, and he can answer even the most nuanced and complex questions with ease. Though it’s tempting to believe our computers can do all our landscape architecture for us, I can affirm that ChatGPT doesn’t know what Nick knows. He can tell me exactly what is going on with various growers, issues that have strained production, patterns of larger companies, when plants are expected to restock, etc. His deep industry relationships are an invaluable tool for understanding how and when I can landscape my property.
Speaking of relationships, he is easy to speak and work with because he is kind-hearted, nonjudgmental and low ego. Whether you are an expert gardener or completely new to it and anxiously arriving feeling clueless, he will never make you feel stupid, and I can guarantee he will give you sage advice. When Fred Rogers said look for the helpers, he was talking about Nick. There just aren’t enough people like him in the world, and I feel so lucky that we have him right here in Madison.”

“What a great place! We stopped by over the Thanksgiving weekend. They have a lot to see. The Christmas barn has many unique twists on holiday decorations.
It was cold and rainy, but they had a fire going with marshmallows to toast, free warm drinks and pastries, which made it much nicer!
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
In the end we bought indoor plants, decorations and a Christmas tree.
We even had our picture taken with Santa.
The pricing varied. Some things were very reasonable and some were pricey.
Overall, it made for a great afternoon. I would definitely recommend them!”

“Visited first weekend of June -- Beautiful peony display garden with a quaint little gift shop selling bulbs and a few soaps and lotions etc. Timing is essential for visiting. Rain and wind may have damaged some of the flowers as they were bowed over. Otherwise, lovely place and wonderful, enthusiastic, welcoming owner. Kudos!”

Steve patiently answered all my questions, provided expert advice tailored to my specific needs, and even assisted in selecting the best plants for my garden. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond made the shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. Thanks to Steve's guidance, I left the greenhouse confident in my purchases and excited to get started on my gardening project.”
“Typical Home Depot, but their center aisles are extremely cluttered. Unfortunately, the clutter is just plastic containers that really should just be stacked somewhere in an aisle shelf. There's no way that they should be taking up that much space in a center aisle that runs the length of the store. The staff is extremely kind and helpful! I wish I got the name of the female associate that assisted me with the few of my purchases because she was probably the best associate that I've ever dealt with in all my years of shopping at Home Depot! Please beware that their kitchen cabinets have a tendency to come with damage directly from the store. Inspect the boxes carefully and make sure there are absolutely no dings on any sides or any corners. Otherwise, you will get all the way home and realize you'll have to drag it back to the store because it's damaged. From what I understand, this happens entirely too frequently.”
“The installation process was great. My only issue was when ordering through Home Depot. They only sent half my order of padding, and I had to wait for the second order and couldn’t schedule the installation till the rest of the padding got there.”

“Went in looking for a few things for a move in home cleaning and honestly wasn’t expecting much help, but a couple of employees actually stopped what they were doing to point me in the right direction. Store’s laid out logically so I didn’t have to wander around too much either. Nothing fancy, just a solid, no-hassle trip. Would go back.”
