Clients beware!!! I'm writing the review to express my disappointment with inconsistent pricing and scheduling issues at this salon. While Akeelia's braiding is excellent, the prices charged consistently exceed those advertised online. Unexpected costs, like mandatory hair bundle purchases (70.00!!!!! For one????), are unacceptable. Inaccurate online pricing and scheduling delays have negatively impacted our experiences. Recommendation to review your online booking system and scheduling practices to ensure accurate pricing and timely appointments; which we always had to wait or received a call to reschedule which is so inconvenient!! We tried many times, enough of the overpricing!

I have been coming here for years. They do a great job with my hair. Carlene, Tamara, and Shernette have made my hair at different times, and they are very good at what they do.
I had to update my review.
I come here all the time, but today I just have to say this... the management or owner has a lot of work to do.
You come in to make your hair with a price in your mind. This is a price on their website. After making my hair, I hear a different price? How? Invisible ponytail $55 on the website, I end up paying $90??? The customer service person doesn't even apologize. No show of remorse for the salon's mistake because the price should be updated whenever there is an increase.
What if the customer doesn't have enough money? The owner will be there making side comments, she doesn't even get up to apologize to the customer. They act so proud. I want to pay for my hair but don't be changing price without proper clarity. When you ask them why the price is different, they act like you are the problem. This is not the first time I'm having this issue so I won't let it slide anymore. Update your website prices!

I came here initially with a picture of a style I wanted and Camille copied that style perfectly. The next time I came I got a slightly different style and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend her.

Very courteous, Professional and polite. My first time with her and she made me feel very comfortable. She did exactly what I asked for and went above and beyond. I will be a returning customer. Very happy that she was able to work with my scarce edges.

tbh soooo bad. just go to the $200 any style and lengths salons to make it worth your money. sneak charges me and tried to make me to pay a price $100 more than we agreed on BEFORW STARTING. refused to pay and the owner, Sandy, ran my name through the mud. a business owner gossiping about a 20 year old. and the braids were awful. i asked for small and got large/medium. do better. 0 stars

I had a great sarvice with Carlene. She did a excellent job. Good customer service, easy to work with, made me very comfortable. Overall she is the best and i love my hair.
