Great first experience renting an enclosed trailer for moving purposes 7 years ago.. this time not so much. Requiring us to carry our own insurance policy (for even a one day rental)… our insurance said they didn’t do 1 day insurance policies & laughed at the fact this “business” didn’t offer their own coverage options that could be purchased. Hours of wasted time on the phone in their parking lot & driving out to the location because the phone doesn’t work either to call and get information, ha. Anyway - U-Haul for the win.

Biggest shout out to the gentlemen working here.
Had to change the bearing on my utility trailer tire. It was a bear and I took it to them and they did it while I waited and wouldn’t take any money. More businesses should treat their customers like these guys! They were so friendly when I walked in the door greeting me and smiling as well! It was 97’ outside and they were still so helpful and kind .
Highly suggest you go here for all your trailer needs large or small!

Terrible!! Workers are rude and disgusting. Sold me the wrong brackets TWICE and then get angry when I return them AGAIN! I asked for a certain size, they reassure me it's that size, and it was not!
If you're looking for a place that is cordial, friendly, and customer oriented...... then go anywhere else!!!

BEWARE. BEWAREI brought a wood chipper to this place because one of the brakes was failing and overheating. My request for them was to check that specific problem and what they did was put a tester in the plug at no time did I ask them for that, what I requested It was a completely different service from what they supposedly did, then they called me an hour after I left the machine there to tell me that the chipper is ready, that it has nothing and they charged me $167.00. Unfortunately, I would like to share my experience so that this does not happen to anyone in the future. These people are not transparent at all. They have practically scammed me. If at any time you require any service from this place, my advice is1. Ask in writing a copy of the service you are requesting so they don't make up stories later that they did something you didn't even mention.2. Can Someone explain to me where in the world the brakes of an axle are diagnosed without removing the wheel because that's what they did, they told me that they had checked the brake and they didn't even remove the wheel. unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this place. I do not recommend it to anyone.THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE ONE START.

My wife recent took her camper for service to H.T, while there she was told that the axle was bend and needed replacementat a substantial cost.Tha axle had been installed at Hecht 3 years agoand they said there was no warranty on it.I called the manufacturer ( Dexter) and was told that there is a 10 year warranty on it. Axle was shipped to Franklin trailer were it was installed. With credit for tires and labor.Stay clear from Hecht.

I've been trying to get service on my new trailer and each and every time I have to deal with this so called new manager I have a problem. Today I went to have my trailer gone over at the appointed time and I was told my appointed was on another day and I was a no so. Then I'm to the mechanic wasn't coming in so I left. The management is useless!!

Called there Wednesday before Thanksgiving and there was not one person that could help me. Only because there was one Mgr and he was off till Monday. Finally got hold of him to buy a trailer, to pick up Tuesday and he was the only one to help me. While the other two guys sat at the front desk and never got up out of their seats. Finally bought a spare tire and it was put on only hand tight at best. Lucky I did not lose it on the way home. That's my nightmare there. Done buying a Big Tex Trailer.
