Please do yourself a favor and don't get your prescriptions filled here. They tried to charge me the uninsured rate ($70+) for a medication that was covered on my insurance (under $15). I was on the phone with the insurance company who assured me of the price, meanwhile they continued to say it was the higher rate. Thankfully my insurance company was able to contact them and remedy, but it took quite a while to resolve. Had I not had the patience of playing phone tag and waiting, I could see how other people would just pay the higher rate out of frustration to not waste their time. If I could leave no stars I would. This isn't my usual pharmacy, but stopped there after a doctor visit because it was on my way. My normal Walgreens pharmacy is just fine, never had an issue like this.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. Staff is so rude, they claim to run your insurance but then when you ask why the prescriptions seem so expensive they say they don't know. Then called insurance company and the pharmacy never ran them through insurance. Go somewhere else!

Worst pharmacy department ever! A prescription from out of state had been called in since we had been traveling. It was for a controlled substance. The pharmacist decided, without any evidence, that since the prescription was from another state, that we were "drug seeking". They refused to follow up on any verification and merely decided they would not fill the prescription. My wife was on the verge of going into withdrawal! We even wondered if it was because we were a minority there (white). They closed by saying, just go somewhere else.

I wish I could give NO STARS!!!! I wish they didn't close the one on Rancocas & Rt 541, that was the fastest and BEST in the area. This one is slow, always losing RX or don't fill your prescription when they say it's ready.. They need to close this one or provide Professional Training! I hope Walgreens Corporate Office is reading these reviews. YOU HAVE TO MAKE CHANGES ???

DONT USE THIS LOCATION!!!! I jus had surgery & went to pick up my script. They told me my Dr never sent script. I was in excruciating pain all night, only to call Dr in a.m. to be told they should have filled my script that night b/c it was there. That morning my daughter goes to get it & they only had one script ready. There should have been a total of four scripts for me. I will report the pharmist to the NJ Board & write Walgreen's Corp about my experience. Needless to say, I'm going to CVS and never using this place again.

Walgreens at 100 Springside had been an unpleasant worst experience EVER! My elderly parent's presctriptions were sent three days before receiving the medication. When I arrived home, the essential medicine (for CHF) was not in the bag.I called the pharmacy and was informed this medication was not in stock. I made the pharmacist aware this medication was vital. I asked why was I not informed of this information during my transaction. Also, I asked if it was possible to see if this medication was in another location nearby. After being on hold for over 50 mins, the line coincidentally disconnected. After calling back, I was on hold for almost two hours listening to the recording "I had three callers ahead of me."During my hold time, I made a complaint through Customer Relations.I was also able to call two other locations and was on hold for under five minutes—The location in Burlington and Riverside. But they were accommodating and jumped in to help immediately! While I remained on hold, I used my other phone and spoke to the store receptionist at the Springside location. I explained what was transpiring and how I was still on hold with the pharmacist department. Not to mention I had someone go into the pharmacy(who watched for over 20 mins), and not one person picked up the phone.I stayed on the phone waiting as I drove to the other pharmacy and picked up my medication drop off before heading to work ( two hours late). I was in the right mind to go to that store but decided against it and just disconnected the call.Thank goodness for over 20 years of working alongside medical as aSW/ PD. I have experience navigating the system for my vulnerable populations.Just imagine an older person with communication barriers, lacks computer literate, or is not text savvy having to experience this situation for a medication needed for their TICKER!!!! It's dishearting !! This is not the first incident, but it has been the most deplorable. I will never go to this location again.I recommend linking your elderly vulnerable population to a local mom-and-pop pharmacy, where I've seen many build excellent relationships with the people in the community.

I had been living in USA more than 25+ years, never heard such story in any of the stores in USA whether retail or other similar services offering suc..

I just left this Walgreens and the Pharmacist Marilyn Wu working on this shift was just so incompetent. I went into this Walgreens and I spoke with her she explains how she needs to speak to the Walgreens in Fl were the prescription was originally filled before she could fill it. I understood that I did say that was fine and I would wait. I walked around and sat in front of the cashier and waited after over half an hour. I watched how they continue to fill people' s prescription by the drive thru and by the front window inside the store at the time there was 2 ladies working along with the her and then a third. None of them were on the phone waiting. Every now and then you would seem them pick up answer a call or make a call speak with someone and then off. After over a half hour of waiting I asked her again about my prescription and she said that she couldn't be staying on the phone. So I responded with I can stay on the phone, she could just give me the phone and I would stay on hold, she said that would not be allowed. I also used my phone to call and within 5min. I had them on the line and I did call in front of her she said she couldn't talk to them on my phone either . She also made an excuse about the pharmacist being on lunch now during these hours . She wasn't on lunch and she never even tried to see if that was the case. I was really frustrated with her. You had 2 additional people there who could have been able to be on hold if you couldn't. And not that this isn't common knowledge but being on hold just requires you to listen if someone picks up the phone. So anyone could have continued doing whatever they were doing and been on hold. My frustration comes with me sitting there the whole time and you could careless and continue feeling orders for people who aren't even there. So confusing to me. I'm sitting in front of you, and your priority is to fill orders for people who aren't even in the store for pickup? Really? After waiting again I received a text that now there was an insurance issue. I spoke to the cashier about the problem and guess who is responsible for fixing that problem too. The pharmacist. So I paid for my prescription in full because I already see how this pharmacist works.

I've been with this Walgreens for many years and I'm sad to say that customer service has declined. Very slow, the recordings when calling the pharmacy is way too long. They should have an option to bypass the staff lunch hours. The wait on the phone to get someone in the pharmacy is more than ½ hour at times. I will have to switch location or go to CVS.
