ADT is in breach of contract. They refuse to cancel my service after submitting proper paperwork via the 3 day right of refusal per contract terms. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs Division. Do not under any circumstance enter into business with ADT.

Terrible experience. One zone in my system went down in March. It was an old system with wired contacts. First person told me the issue was the batteries in a non-existant sensor. Spent hours trying to find the sensor and replaced the batteries. Called again. Technician never showed up, and they charged me. Second technician claimed to fix the issue. It lasted a month. Third technician claimed it was mostly fixed just tripping due to cold weather. It stopped working a few hours after he left. Third technician took a proper look and realized that the old contacts were wearing out and the previous technicians wet looking at the wrong break in the system. Said he’d be back with a part that would allow him to add a wireless sensor. Came back a week later before telling me they don’t make the part again and to call for an upgrade. There was nothing he could do to fix it. Called for an upgrade and wasn’t even offered a discount despite being a customer for 8.5 years.I travel a lot for work. This process lasted between March and November. They still collected every payment as if I was actually secure. I paid for non-existent security for 8 months.Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Be ware of ADT a national fraud franchise. They will sell you defective non working equipment . When you call for service they will send a technician to tell you there is a problem with the environment in your house and they have to take the equipment back. Then they give you the royal runaround and never refund your money and never answer your calls. Bad equipment, award winning bad service and scam artists. Thieves.

This is my first one star review. Very disappointed with the experience from ADT. Eddy came to my father’s house to install the system. He was very rude and started yelling at us for no reason. Also he told my mom that he felt bad she needed to put up with both of us. We would have called the police if he did not leave. Thankfully the system was installed after 4 hours on phone yesterday. Would never recommend using this service. Buyer beware

Door to door salesperson ignored my no soliciting sign then proceeded to be passive aggressive for the remainder of the encounter when I informed him that I already had service. Makes me want to reconsider sticking with ity ADT.

As an ADT sales rep i can tell you..stay away...everyhting is a upcharge...highest monthly rates in the industry...and to those who are considering working there...they wont pay you what they owe....you are always waiting and then never get what you are supposed to

The only customer retention plan is old school contracts to lock you into it. No way out. No returning equipment. Lies. Horrible customer support. Cameras fail to record the majority of what's needed, even on highest settings. Horrible company

Worked at ADT for a couple years. EXTREMELY shady management. They will call some of the products “garbage” or “pieces of s**** but then push us to sell more of that product in the meetings. Management promotes lying to customers because they don’t know how to sell.Very toxic work environment. Customers and employees alike get ZERO support at the local level. When told to do a task, I asked the manager to show me how. He couldn’t do it himself then wrote me up for not completing the task that he himself couldn’t do.I’ve since moved on from ADT. But not before they pocketed over $5,000 in commissions from my hard work protecting families + small businesses. HR never returned my call about benefits and pay after I left (management couldn’t answer the questions and referred me to the HR rep). I tried to contact the HR rep multiple times. No luck. Huge corporation with zero follow-through on their “values”.0/5 do NOT work here and I would advise against becoming a customer as well.

I've been an ADT customer for 25 yrs. Their service is great, security top notch. We had an issue with our system and they came right out and fixed it right away. Very knowledgeable staff. I would recommend them to anyone.

Everyone in the entire process right from the beginning with speaking to a representative on the phone to the final completion of the installation were all very friendly, professional and thorough in their knowledge and expertise in making this a pleasant experience. I highly recommend ADT if you are considering an alarm system.

Installation by the ADT technician was seamless. He is the best! Our device, part of our home security system, works perfectly and ADT has followed up to ensure our satisfaction. Dry happy with ADT.

very dissatisfied with the ADT represenative. He left exterior doors unlocked. Did not clean up mess he made with the doorbell installation. He drilled unnecessary holes in the wall. He was in a rush to leave and did not explain the ADT panel usage
