“This church has helped my family when we were struggling.. I thank God for them, they have been a blessing to my family .. I will donate to them first before any other organization..”
“If you've never been to the Annual Canoe Carnival in Medford Lakes, you're missing something special! A very family friendly event, featuring handmade "floats" built on canoes!!! Yes, canoes! Some of these are multiple stories high, with lights, music, mechanical features like roller coasters, fire breathing dragons, and current themes, that will leave you scratching your head. Most have live performers, and no motors. Just 1 or 2 guys paddling their tails off. Beyond description....you have to see it to believe it. Buy tickets in advance, and get there early, or you won't get in. Great summer fun in August!!”
“If you are in need of free food and clothing, please come to this place. Tuesday and Friday are the days for the produce delivery. All in all, this place serves the people who need help with food, clothes, toiletries, information for the homeless, and ministry. Friendly staff as well.”
“They take great care of you. The scout store and resource center staff do everything they can to be helpful. Let them know what you need and they'll get you squared away!”
“Helping others: no one should go hungry in a world filled with caring people. Providing meals for underserved, disabled, homebound, and those truly in need. NON PROFIT RUN BY VOLUNTEERS LIKE ME. I may be disabled but I found a way to give back!”
“Every month for approximately three years, we have eagerly anticipated food delivery day! Absolutely the BEST way, bar none, to spend a Sunday morning. There is much hunger in the world so it is incredibly satisfying to assist in lending a hand to our neighbors who may be struggling. JRA is a wonderful nonprofit led by a terrific president (Amy) and volunteer organizer (Melissa). They accomplish Herculean feats on a shoestring.”
“My trial guitar lesson with Bob Bross went very well. I am continuing with a set of hour lessons with Mr Bross. I already play a little and I believe that I will benefit from his input”
“Great place, full of life! The director of this center, Viktoria, is an amazing kind-hearted person who dedicated her life to this place so she could bring various activities and experiences to the community!”

“My 84 year old mother has been a patient in Lions Gate Rehab twice in the past year. After experiencing the lacking care in other facilities, I would not have her stay anywhere else other than Lions Gate. From start to finish her stays there have provided excellent care for her. She felt welcomed and cared for. The staff is kind, positive, helpful and responsive. Mom was comfortable and her PT and OT were top notch. There were activities for the patients that went a long way to lifting her spirits and speeding her recovery. Upon discharge Mom’s nurses, aides, and therapists all stopped by to say goodbye, give her tips for continued recovery at home and wish her well. This is without a doubt the best place in the area.”
“My husband and I agreed that it was time to adopt but with my cancer treatments, we knew we needed a calm, low maintenance dog. The selection process was low-pressure, very thorough and informative for us both. Meg helped us choose Lyra - a beautiful calm Saluki from Bahrain and when we found out she had some health issues, the program jumped right in to offer support, flexibility and whatever we needed to be sure she was taken care of. Lyra has become my husband's best friend through my illness and she adds so much joy and happiness to our lives.
From application, to adoption, and now post-adoption. Meg and Bobbie, along with the vet staff, have all been incredibly communicative, supportive, and helpful not only in ensuring that we got a dog that fit our needs but nearly a year later, they're continuing to invest time and energy and effort to make sure we're still doing well. Everyone at the facility, is incredible and we couldn't recommend them more.”
