The store manager is basically Gollum with all the charm of the Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.
I’ve never seen more unprofessional behavior from someone working than I did in this store. Openly complaining and cursing about not being able to take breaks, zero attentiveness to his customers.
GameStop, do better with your hires.

This location is a complete and utter joke. No wonder they are closing all over the place. I brought in a perfectly good conditioned, working Xbox One to trade in. Because there was two tiny scratches that couldn’t be wiped off with Windex, the kids that were working told me that their superiors very recently are making them classify consoles that have any visible scratches on the exterior that cannot be wiped off as “defective”. Therefore They would have to deduct approximately $20 from the already laughable trade-in value. This was a white Xbox. If it were a black Xbox, you would have not been able to see anything from these minor scratches. This is how ridiculous things have gotten with that store. These people are crooks and I will never spend another dollar there.

So yesterday (11-8) I stopped by the Mays Landing NJ location and saw they were doing a promo for PS5 controllers. $50 instead of $75. Today (11-9), I am at my girlfriends and left my controller at home and wanted to buy a new one. I called this location and the guy I spoke to said that the controller was $75, not $50. I thought that was weird that one store would do $50 and this one $75. When I respectfully asked him to double check, he was condescending, stating “They’re labeled,” in an annoyed voice. I cross checked with the Cherry Hill location and they explained that there’s currently a promo running until the end of the month, and the gentleman I spoke with didn’t know what they were talking about. It’s one thing to not know, but to be a condescending prick who doesn’t know is another.

I attempted to replace my broken PS5 controller and employee insisted that they removed the price I already paid for the broken controller towards the new one but when I had to pay, it was full priced and they insisted they couldn't do anything about it.
