I scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad, and they asked me a ton of questions through the phone. When I bring it to the store, they ask if it’s from Best Buy, which I clarified it wasn’t already before the appointment over the phone, and they refused to touch it…so why make the appointment? Probably so they can hit some sort of quota.

Jason is great! Very knowledgeable, highly experienced, punctual, and just generally a pleasure to interact with! I highly recommend him to handle installations in your vehicle.

Showed up early, took my information about product issue. Asked me to return 1 hour later only to be told they don’t service Microsoft products without a warranty. Would have saved me quite a bit of time hearing that the first time. The policy I understand, the poor communication I don’t.

i went to go get a part of my laptop fixed and then they said they are shipping it to a state far away from me and that it will take up to three weeks and now i have expressed that i don't want it fixed anymore because the laptop still works perfectly. what really threw me off was that they asked for my computer's passcode which they should not be asking about in the first place and when i said that i don't want it fixed anymore, they still continue to ship my laptop to somewhere else when i need it for work and classes every single day. i want my computer back now

Had to leave both old and new computer with Geek Squad for data transfer. I was very concerned as my computer is essential to my business. Initial estimate was 3 to 4 days due to holiday crush. I dropped it off Saturday late afternoon. Told them it was for my business. I got the call Monday late afternoon - it was done! They even uploaded the content onto a back-up drive (not purchased there). Reps were professional, courteous and sensitive to my needs and concerns. BIG thumbs up.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. First let me say that my daughter passed away 7/22/21 due to cancer and I had her voice saved on my phone. Well I accidentally locked myself out of my phone I forgot the pattern. I was so upset that I would never hear her voice again but Lauren and Geoffrey were able to get my phone working again and found the app that my daughter's voice is on and were able to get it back for me. I'm so grateful for all the time and help they did. They gave me back a gift I thought I was going to lose forever. I can't thank them enough

Was unable to make appt on line or by phone. Did walk in. Young gentleman was able to quickly assist me and write directions so I could fix it if it happened again.

The crew here did some good work for me.I had two computers I purchased directly from CyberPower that did not work properly. They would overheat and shut down or degrade performance to maintain their temperature. I had already sent one PC back to CyberPower for repair which was a month+ long process. It still didn't function fully. Didn't want to do that again.Turns out the machines had no case fans, only a CPU Fan. So I purchased case fans and simply brought them to the Geek Squad for installation. Best Buy complied but recommended a stronger solution that included using fans I had purchased, but also adding All in One liquid cooling system for my machines. I had avoided liquid cooling but they answered all my questions and calmed all my fears. I will say it wasn't the cheapest solution but I believe it was the right one and the best one to realize the true potential of the machines I had purchased.They now run smoothly and quickly. My boys are running games like Fortnite at 200+FPS which I am told is very good.Specifically I'd like to call out the Manager Anthony, and the Annette, I think her name was, the tech that did my first machine and recommended the solution I ended up using on both machines. Both were professional, courteous and responsive. The work was done quickly and seems to be quality work. I would recommend going here for computer repairs or tech problems to anyone.

Just ask magnolia, the tv guys inside best buy, they will tell you never to use geek squad cause they do not know what they are doing... Brian in Magnolia will tell you that himself.

Told by geek squad on phone to take computer to geek squad at store because they could not fix it. Arrived at store with no customers waiting and told we had to have a appt. Sat and waited for 10 mins with still no customers then suddenly they could help us. The original guy I would give 0 stars to. The second guy was very helpful.

Throw the whole geek squad away! Can't help me out with my product becuase I didn't buy it from the store! Lol good job at cutting your business in half. Plus ya geek squad representative hung up on me. Absolute trash ?

Terrible customer service at the geek squad, called and was told to go to the store as a walk in. Got to the store and waited 45mins in line for the guy to come out and say that they were too busy and I needed to make an appointment.

Most recent experience has been horrible, my computer has been in repair status for over a month and still unable to get information regarding the status. When you call Geek Squad services via phone, the options you get does not allow you to elect customer service, keep taking you back to the main menu. It is amazing when you need to purchase the total tech services you get immediate help; but when you need technical assistance via, phone, it's almost impossible to get anyone.
