I just had the worst experience for a blood draw at this location and it had nothing to do with the procedure itself. The tech I encountered at this location really needs a career change because her attitude stinks. When I arrived, the door was locked, so I went to the Walgreens counter and inquired if they were still doing blood draws for the day. It was my first time here. The associate at the counter told me to knock on the door which I did. The tech inside the office unlocked the door and rudely and unprofessionally proceeded to berate me because I knocked asked if they were still doing blood draws. Apparently, she was not pleased with the fact that I knocked and asked. She was condescending and outright disrespectful throughout out the encounter even after I explained how I got to knocking on the door. She really needs to check her attitude if she is going to continue to serve at this location.

I just had one of the worst blood testing experiences of my life, at about 3:30 pm (Thursday).
Never lived so close to a lab, so decided to try this one. I started to write my full review and realized so much was wrong, it could’ve been paragraphs. The tech was vile…honestly, beyond rude.
To add insult to injury, everything was sloppy. The door to the adjacent room holding supplies, needles and such was wide open the whole time. I could see how dirty and unorganized it was in there…not comforting during a medical appointment.
The huge sign about stations being sanitized between patients is inaccurate, to say the least here.
My (dominate, for the record) arm looks like a crime scene. I haven’t had this painful of a reaction after a draw in many years.
There is so much more I could say, and I’m actually still in some shock about it.
I had a medical issue as a kid, so have had probably hundreds of tests…It’s something that still needs to be monitored in my 30’s.
Anyone in this tech position needs to realize some people hate blood work in general, have horrible anxiety, are scared and preoccupied, or like me, have childhood trauma from serious diseases, hospitals, scans, BLOOD tests, and more…we just want an easy and efficient experience. You never know why someone might be a little nervous.
This tech needs to get a new career, (like I did after a decade of customer service when I started to notice it wearing down my kindness) or a big reminder of how to show even slight compassion to people in a vulnerable place. This place needs help.

Shay is the best!!! I have terrible anxiety getting blood drawn and Shay made me feel so comfortable. She has such a calm, gentle, and positive demeanor. She understood exactly what I needed. I’m so grateful for her. Highly recommend!

I admittedly never take the time to write a review but feel compelled to after our wonderful experience this morning with Shay. My son was incredibly anxious going into this appointment and she did everything possible to put him at ease and encourage him. Additionally, her expertise in drawing blood made the experience quick and painless, which will make any future visits, less stressful from the start.
This is our second time using this lab and will be my "go-to" for all future needs.
Thank you, Shay for being an absolute angel this morning!

Was prepared to bail after reading last review but went for appt on a Monday afternoon, promptly seen, no radio, nice girl, weren't scary. Depends what phlebotomist ya get I guess
Update: Returned a month later to a different experience, last reviewer was right, bizarre atmosphere, not treated like a medical setting, takeaway here is not to go to labs built into the beyond section of a Walgreens cuz they're run as though nobody's watching and that is cause for alarm for anybody who's not feeling well to begin with and is gonna have someone less than professional comin at 'em with a needle

Phlebotomist Shay was a sweetheart to the woman and her child before me and also to myself. A positive person who was both good at her job and exhibited extraordinary bed side manner even while short-staffed.

I wish I could leave zero stars to be honest. My experience was horrible. To start, I didn’t get called back until almost an hour after my appointment date. I was not greeted with friendliness or an apology for the late start, and the tech didn’t say a word to me the entire time I was back there. I tried to initiate small talk and be friendly, but was met with silence from the tech who was too busy singing along to the music on the radio. The actual blood draw was horrific. She took about two seconds to look for my vein, handle the insertion roughly, and then because she did not pick a good vein from the start spent the next 3 minutes fishing around with the needle still in to get a flow. It was extremely painful and was an awful experience. When she was finished, she yanked out the needle and didn’t say a word. I left the room and assumed all my stuff had been complete. What an awful experience- please don’t come here!!!

Exceptional Experience with Shay, the Phlebotomist at LabCorp in Walgreens, Mount Laurel, NJI recently discovered the hidden gem of LabCorp located inside the Walgreens in Mount Laurel, NJ. This place is truly a best-kept secret. I was pleasantly surprised by how long it has been there, and yet, I had just found out about it. The convenience is unparalleled – with no lines, minimal wait time, and the ability to schedule appointments online, it stands out as a hassle-free medical testing experience. But the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the phlebotomist, Shay. From the moment I met her, Shay's pleasant attitude and demeanor were evident. She exuded professionalism and friendliness, making me feel at ease instantly. However, what really set Shay apart was her exceptional skill in blood drawing. I have had numerous blood tests in the past, but never have I encountered such a seamless and pain-free experience. I literally felt nothing during the procedure – no pinch, no pressure, nothing. It was the first time I ever had a blood draw where I did not feel a thing.Shay's remarkable technique and her warm, reassuring presence made my visit not just tolerable, but genuinely pleasant. Her expertise and care are commendable, and she is a true asset to the LabCorp team at this location.Thank you, Shay, for your incredible service. Your skill and demeanor have made you my go-to phlebotomist. I will definitely be back and will recommend this location, and especially Shay, to others who seek a stress-free and painless blood draw experience. Keep up the fantastic work!

Inappropriate response, Labcorp talk to area that does test results.I like this Walgreens lab location. Had blood draw at my appointment & gave orders for 2 different doctors, both had CMP as part of their order. So how do the 2 doctors reports have somewhat different numbers on almost every line item in the panel.

2 weeks ago my child had such a terrible experience at the Burlington NJ office and I had to reschedule to have her lab work completed so I rescheduled at the Labcorp @Walgreens in Mount Laurel.I went on 11/6 wt a fasting appt and the Phlebotomist Shay was so professional, compassionate and understanding to my child having a fear of needles and bad anxiety. I went myself today and the same experience. Highly recommended and again Shay was amazing!

I had lab work done at this location a couple of weeks ago and Tanisha was absolutely amazing. I typically have a very hard time getting blood drawn and actually had to walk out of a different location the week prior due to passing out, but Tanisha made me feel super comfortable and opted to draw from my hand (where I am more comfortable). Forever grateful for her!

I went here for the first time last week. The phlebotomist was excellent - she had no problem even though I have small veins, and was also very personable. I generally dread getting blood work done, and she made the experience better.

Tanisha at Walgreens Labcorp in Mt Laurel is excellent. She is professional and knowledgeable but more importantly patient centered. She listens and hears her patients. Very grateful!
