My sister, niece and I drove 5 hours from the Syracuse, NY area to check into a total of 3 rooms at Staybridge Suites. The purpose of our travel was to enjoy the Monster Mania convention in Cherry Hill, NJ. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were received by your Front Desk Attendant, Lida (?). After informing us of a $250 per room security deposit that is not mentioned on IHG's website, I questioned Lida about this. Lida proceeded to hand me a notice from your desk counter that was framed in clear plastic. I explained, again, that IHG's website does not advise of the $250 security deposit. Lida said that I wasn't advised because I booked through a third-party website. I corrected Lida as I booked directly through IHG. This is approximately the time that Lida told me that my card had been declined. Knowing that I had spoken with my Credit Union to post a travel notification to my account, I logged into my online banking app. I showed Lida that IHG had received the $405.89. Lida argued with me that her system showed "$0.00" and that she would "show me a picture" of it. After several minutes of going back-and-forth, I asked Lida to contact IHG Corporate for assistance in determining and correcting the issue with the transaction. Lida advised that she did not have the phone number to IHG Corporate. I quickly performed an internet search and offered it to her but she declined, stating that she is unable to contact IHG Corporate. I then asked Lida to contact the hotel manager as I was not going to pay twice for my room. Lida suggested that I wait until the morning as this is when the manager would be in. I then demanded Lida to contact the hotel manager. Lida said she sent a text message. I waited several minutes and there was no response from the hotel manager.Next, I advised Lida that I would be going outside to call IHG Corporate myself. After speaking to two different representatives, I learned that IHG Corporate could not fix the transaction issue. I then advised that I would contact the New Jersey State Trooper's as Lida and your hotel stole $405.89 from me. The IHG Corporate representative said that he would contact Lida to try to correct and resolve the situation. I received a follow up call from this same gentleman advising that there was no resolution.I then walked back into the hotel, collected our luggage, and left. The entire event lasted for approximately 1 hour. During this time frame, I was appalled by Lida's lack of customer service and basic human empathy, and her inability to correct her systems issue.

Stayed there 2 nights only for the 3rd night to be locked out of our room and told that our payment didn’t go through. Checked in twice before this happened and somehow no other staff had a problem with it. The *multiple* payments were taken off of the cards, even called the bank and they said it went through. Ridiculous. They had us wait in the lobby for over an hour with 5 kids then proceeded to have us pack up our stuff and leave. With the payment still taken off the cards.

The rooms are very dates and dingy. The location of the hotel is average, but noisy. The customer service is what made it least desirable - they just aren’t friendly and are rude. Here for 7 nights for a funeral and it was not enjoyable to be at this hotel.Rooms: Dirty, dated

I took a chance because my normal spot was booked. This place did not disappoint. It was clean, spacious and the staff were phenomenal. It was also family friendly with an indoor heated pool. My nephews and I had a great time.

Chose this hotel to stay in for the week of my daughter’s wedding nearby. I needed a 2 bedroom suite for my family. Hotel is a little out of date in how it is decorated, however, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and the team who works there are awesome! Liza, Amani, and Shawn at the front desk could not have been any friendlier, and the breakfast every morning was hot, with good choices! I will definitely be back to stay at this location again!

We stayed one night in late October 2023 on our way to visit relatives. We have always had good experiences with SS in the past. Not this time. There was a woman dressed like a streetwalker (thigh high fishnet stockings paired with a skirt so short you could see her a$$) in the hallway as we made our way to our room. The room was dirty, the furniture stained, ripped, scratched, and worn badly. The kitchen had dirty dishes in the microwave. The carpet was filthy. It was so bad I did not want to sit on the furniture or take my shoes off to relax. The bed had clean sheets, but was worn out and sagging. I asked the front desk if we could move to a better room, but was told they are all in the same shape. Ugh. As it was only one night, we coped, but left without taking showers the next day to avoid skin contact with the shower floor. In their favor, the breakfast was hot and well tended. We will never stay in this property again. It's sad because I always considered SS my go to hotel.

I stay here often (I had a break for a while during Covid when my doctors were doing visits virtually) as my doctors are out of Cooper Hospital and I have to see them several times a year. I try to schedule my appointments in the same week and then stay at the StaybridgeSuites. The rooms are either Studios or 1 or 2 bedrooms. They all have a full kitchen and are very comfortable. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and professional. They try to accommodate any requests you might have if they can. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers nearby and Philadelphia and the New Jersey Aquarium in Camden is not to far away.Rooms: There are 3 type of rooms. They are studios with a small living room & kitchen and 1 & 2 bedrooms with a living room and kitchen. Since I go to see my team of doctors I like to come back to my room and relax on the couch rather than having to lay down in the bed all the time. The TV turns on a pedestal so you can watch it from the couch or the bed which is convenient.Nearby activities: Philadelphia, the NJ Aquarium and Battleship New Jersey is nearby along with movie theaters and shopping mallsSafety: I feel very safe. This is one of the reasons I like to stay here since I travel alone. You cannot get into any of the outside doors without a room key and the outside doors are permanently locked before midnight so you can’t get in with or without a room key so you have to go to the front desk which someone is there all night long.Walkability: There are some restaurants that you can walk toFood & drinks: They have a food pantry that has snacks, drinks, frozen food and personal items that you might’ve forgotten that you can charge to your room or pay at the front desk. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers nearby and they offer a breakfast buffet in the morning. I’ve never had it but it looks good and people are always there in the morning.Noteworthy details: Cooper Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center which is affiliated are close by in Camden with affiliated doctors offices all around the area and Virtua Hospital which is located in VoorheesPhiladelphia, the NJ State Aquarium and Battleship New Jersey is close by in Camden on the waterfront. Also, there are plenty of shopping centers and movie theaters

Beautiful extended stay hotel with many types of rooms to choose from. We stayed in a room that had a large refrigerator, stove, microwave and sink. The room was large enough to fit a desk , full size couch and king size bed! The bathroom was a little small so that the room could accommodate the other amenities but it wasn't a problem. Everything in the hotel is really clean. There's a laundry room that is free to use, a clean indoor pool, and an amazing breakfast buffet with so much to choose from. Everything in the hotel is inviting, from the warm and welcoming staff, cozy fire place in the lobby and free tea and coffee bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My family and I needed a place to live while our house was being worked on due to damage caused by a falling tree during a windstorm. Staybridge Suites was a wonderful place to stay. We had a nice suite with 2 bedrooms and a living/kitchen area with a nice sized refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, 2 burner stove top, a sink,a dishwasher ,a toaster and coffee maker. There is an indoor pool, a workout room, a basketball court and a laundry room. There is a nice breakfast served every morning in a dining area near the lobby. It is located within walking distance from several restaurants, just minutes from others and from nearby stores.

Service was wonderful! The front desk had the nicest people. The rooms were very clean. Housekeeping was so kind. Breakfast was yummy. Many restaurants nearby, Walmart right up the street was very convenient. We booked a 2-bedroom suite at the last minute due to the 95 collapse and needing access to Philly all week. They helped make a somewhat stressful situation way less stressful. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the first time and had a generally positive experience. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were impressive. Our room was a king 1 bedroom suite, which felt cozy and homey. We appreciated having a full-size refrigerator and a set of kitchenware, which made our stay more convenient. However, we encountered some orange-ish bugs on the sheets and pillows, which made us very uneasy and disrupted our sleep. Although the staff couldn't change our room due to overbooking, the lady at the front desk was helpful and promptly changed the sheets. We wish we had been informed of her name, as we wanted to thank her for her assistance. In addition, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The bed in our room was somewhat uncomfortable, as we could feel the springs. We also noticed some dust on the walls and lamps. Additionally, the natural light in the room was not great, although this might not be a concern for everyone. Overall, we feel that the hotel could benefit from some updates in certain areas. However, these issues are relatively minor and could be easily addressed by the hotel management.
