If you have a choice, don't bank here.To their credit, they don't use foreign contracting for their customer services. If you call them, you will get someone who can speak clear English. However, their customer service reps are still useless. In very clear English, they will give you bad advice, and try to sell you products and services you don't need. I know from experience, if you have an issue, three different customer services will offer four different solutions and all of them won't work. Their fraud detection is janky and does not work and doing even the most simple banking tasks will be a hassle.

Applied for a loan in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. We got pre-approval as fortunately we had good credit score from credit score monopolies. For strange reasons loan was transferred to Lexington, South Carolina and things started going downhill.1 All the representatives have their voice mail box full so you cannot record your message. Also they will always call from private number so if you miss the call then there is no way to call back.2 In all the representative emails, there is signature with "If at any time you are not receiving legendary service, please feel free to contact my manager". Reality is that even if you call manager or manager's manager there is no response.3 The loan processor was changed in a few days. But the business process problem is that they did not inform the same to the loan applier, we kept emailing processor 1 instead of processor 2 resulting in another 10 days delay.4 My suggestion to TD Bank is that if you do not have adequate capacity, then you can inform the people applying for loan the same, there are other banks who can provide the loan.5 There are a huge number of mistakes on the TD Bank portal. It showed that I am part time employed instead of full time. Also it shows the same employer for myself and my spouse which is also incorrect. In spite of several months of complaints the information was not updated, and then we get call from the private number that we can sign off the application regardless and they can correct it later on which is absolutely the wrong business practice.I am regretting why I did not go ahead with PNC Bank. Now planning to submit a complaint with Consumer Financial protection bureau (under section applying for a mortgage)

Thieves, Crooks, I complained to the OCC or Office of the Comptroller of Currency. I am not a client of TD Bank and they reverse charged me for sending money to one of TD's business customers. This is not legal and is as "Crooked as it gets!"

Nothing about this bank is convenient. Every process is made to be as difficult as humanly possible and when pressed on why, their answer is “Oh for security”. When you ask them how is X process making anything more secure no one can tell you why. I can’t even change my nonprofit’s name or address. This bank is a complete joke….please avoid doing business with them.

Called to get information for past records and the lady said I had the wrong department and she did not know where to send me and sorry. Yeah, you are sorry.

I am not one to complain. I’ve been going the the Sayville locations for a couple years now. I am very unhappy with them. Since the pandemic I use the window. I never use the other lanes where you have to touch everything. The tellers are absolutely amazing! No complaints with them. But today it was pretty busy and the lane to use the drive through is very slim. So I was waiting in line 2 cars ahead of me for the window. The other lanes were opened but I was not using them. Yes I should of had gloves but unfortunately I didn’t. The manager came out with the poorest attitude and asked “why I was blocking the lanes” I explained my reasons. Still with an attitude she proceeded to help me. Not my fault they do not have the drive through set up properly regardless of the pandemic since no one can go inside unless you are using the atm. I’ve waiting on that line numerous times and did not complain once... like I said I am not one to complain. Everyone has bad days but she was extremely unprofessional.
