“Overall I was very happy with my U-Haul rentals. I rented a 20' truck to get my items out of my Pods unit and bring it over to the U-Haul storage.
I'm currently utilizing a 10x25x10 storage unit at the Mount Laurel location and everything seems to be working out great! All of the employees I've had interactions with were very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.”

“I reserved a van at the Pennsauken U-Haul Moving & Storage, but because the previous renter didn’t return it on time, they sent me to the Maple Shade location. Leyla took outstanding care of me—she was super friendly and got me on the road fast! The only negative was that the truck smelled like cigarettes (not her fault). I highly recommend Leyla and this location if you want to get the job done.”

“We recently rented a trailer and encountered some issues with the lighting system. Penske’s support team responded promptly, dispatching a technician for roadside assistance within the hour. Although the issue couldn’t be resolved on-site, we were directed to the in-house workshop, where the technicians quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem—getting us back on the road in under an hour.

“Was looking for a cap for some time, found Burlington Truck Center on an internet search. Stopped in, the fella who took my order, (I’m sorry but forgot his name ? ) was super nice and knowledgeable about Jeraco products. 20 minutes later it was ordered. 6 weeks lead time, was called to schedule appointment and everything was super smooth exactly to what I ordered! My estimate was right on target. (I did a good job estimating my miles so there was no surprises) Check in was very easy, and drop off was also easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. “Had terrible experiences with Ryder. Went through 4 broken trucks in 1 week. Miller is the completely opposite. Great service and new trucks that have upgraded radios and rear cameras. They are also cheaper and have refrigerated vans which most companies don't. Couldn't ask for more. Kelly is a great sales rep.”

“What a great experience from making my reservation for a 9 feet van, picking up, and returning the van. Kevin the UH representative at the Burlington, NJ location was the absolute customer quality professional. Kevin explained all needed information, what's covered, additional details, and how to return the van. Unrelated to Kevin was the no show day movers I had paid for upfront. Uhaul needs to refresh their third party list of day movers because the company that was assigned to me hadn't done business thru UHaul since November 2025. This delayed my move by three hours. Thankfully after contacting Uhaul's national CS I was able to choose a company, Global Express movers, who were responsive, and arrived within an hour or so from the new request was made. If you need just a few guys to do the heavy lifting this is a great option vs traditional movers. After that bit of stress my move went well. Two thumbs up Kevin.”

“My review for this location was great. I think some of the combination locks to retrieve the keys should be replaced as the combinations are deteriorating making it hard to read. I do have some complaints about the U-Haul mobile app experience and would give the mobile app only 2 stars. It was NOT great and I would rather prefer to schedule and pick up with a real person. Uhaul should notify the customer at the time of scheduling what is to be expected when picking up the tuck. I was not aware of how long the process takes before you can drive the truck off the lot and should have at least arrived 30 minutes before I scheduled the pickup. U-Haul should allow you to register your rental a day before and start with the driver license and verification process in advance. I know you can't verify the truck in advance, but at least have to option to submit your driver license to verify in advance. You will also submit a second contact as a reference and uhaul will contact your reference. Well, if your reference ist not answering the phone right away you just sit in the lot waiting to be verified. Which is probably why the process took that long. If I would have known that this is the process I could have prepared better. Also, when you first get your vehicle you need to take pictures from each side. This is great on theory, but to be able to fit each side in the camera view you need to step back at least 20 feet. This is impossible from where the truck is parked. The process is the same again when you return. You will need to take pictures from each side. I will only recommend to start the return process before parking the truck as you will not have enough room to take the pictures. Hindsight I should also have taken the truck out of the parking spot when I picked it up before finalizing the pickup procedure. I will be better prepared next time, but Uhaul should have better communication and send instructions prior to your scheduled rental.”
