My experience with Officer Charles was deeply disturbing. Her conduct as soon as we met was unprofessional and extremely disrespectful. Thankfully, the supervisor had another (very nice) officer take over the process.
After reading similar reviews about officer Charles’ treatment of others, I’m surprised she is still in her role, mistreating people who are already anxious about their citizenship interview. I hope the department takes action urgently.
TL;DR: If you’re scheduled to be interviewed by Officer Charles, consider requesting a different interviewer.

USCIS Mount Laurel office is lower than a sloth. I had my green card by marriage interview almost three months ago and I have not heard from these sloths on what decision they have taken.
And there have been no updates on my online account as well.
No RFE or anything and yet it’s taking forever.
A friend of mine just got married in February in Darby, PA and had their interview waived and got their Green card already.
I’m considering suing this office for the delay they are causing for me(non resident), my wife(citizen)and my two kids(citizens as well)

I visited this office for my civics test and interview for citizenship, it was a pleasure the three security officers that was the first point of contact they were very polite and professional. Asked for our letters and ID and wished us the best.
Officer Dyson conducted my interview, he was very professional and explained the process. I did not feel rushed or pressured. It was a great experience for me for something that is so important.
The staff that did the ceremony was very nice.
Overall it was an awesome experience. Thank you officer Dyson!!

I got naturalized today but the experience was horrible. Don't know this African American female officer's name but her attitude, geez, almost shut down my plan to become a US citizen. Arrogant, ironic, demeaning, condescending...are the best words to describe this officer (in her fifties). I guess this is the greatest power she has in her life and she does take the most advantage of it. May she have a peaceful personal life and I pray for other applicants not falling into this awful officer's hand.

Why is so difficult to speak with a human being at the phone? I need an information that cannot be found on line!
