I went to the Mount Laurel Wegmans after I went to the gym earlier today. I went through self checkout and after scanning everything realized that it was credit only. I wanted to pay with cash so I called the cashier working the self checkout lane over. Her name is Alice. Alice came over and said. “No problem. I’ll just do the same thing for you that I did for that lady.” She proceeded to point to a white, blonde lady walking towards customer service with her two children. Alice then told me I would need to go to customer service with the receipt she will print out to pay. So far so good right? Here’s where things took a turn. I reached out to take the receipt from Alice. Alice then states, “I have to walk you to customer service.” When I questioned why she stated, “Some people suck and will just walk out with the cart.” I figured this was typical procedure except, when I walked up to the register I saw the little white blonde lady with her two children with her receipt in hand.
At that point I was furious. I asked Alice why she gave the little white lady her receipt to pay but I had to be walked to customer service like I’m a thief. At first she looked confused but I asked her again and she said, “sorry, I’ll accept that.” Accept what exactly? That you’re profiling people? That you’re accusing customers of stealing? At that point Alice walked away and I proceeded to go off. I probably said every curse word in the book and definitely made a scene. I saw red. I’m a long time customer of Wegmans and this really made me disappointed and sick to my stomach. A nice lady with reddish/ blonde hair came over to ask me what’s wrong and calm me down. But it was too late. I’m not sure if Alice was racist or just profiling because I had workout clothes and a hoodie on but her behavior was totally uncalled for. The manager, Sean came out and I was still going off because in all my years, I don’t think I’ve ever encountered something like this. He was nice and was polite but at that point I wasn’t hearing anyone. Wegmans needs to do better. I don’t know that I’ll ever feel comfortable setting foot in that store.

I am leaving a review regarding the associate Cheryl who is working in the pharmacy. She is quite the short rude person who seems to stalky annoyed engaging with customers. Maybe she needs to go home or have a day or 2 off. We all have tough days but just be kind

It was this past Saturday, June 11 about 530 at night me and the wife went in to get a couple sandwiches for dinner made to order and it’s surprising to me that your deli person didn’t know how to make a Italian hoagie I was a bit baffled so I instructed him on which make it and still became out the worst sandwich I ever had and you have a very lovely place there and I’ve got other things at the store never an issue but your deli this guy did not know how to make a simple sandwich it was pretty bad. Very disappointed

About 50% of the produce is rotten. This is from Monday at the Mt Laurel store. The Cherry Hill store is the same. Buyer beware! The cost of groceries is too high for me to throw it all out and my time is too valuable to be returning things.

Did not have the face cream I wanted in stock again and I really don't like that the self checkouts don't accept cash!!! Also I don't need a sign telling me to please sanitize my hands...I am cleaner than most people, nor do I need a sign IN the store preaching about masks! People are quite aware that there is a current mask mandate and will be shopping here less because I find it a tad annoying and not worth the trip. Cherry Hill is better! Please focus more on selling the organic and non gmo food products and stop this madness with all this unnatural nonsense! Don't need to try too hard, but Ill stick with Cherry Hill, for now...

Major problem with Wegmans (Mt Laurel): the store keeps out-of-date food on the shelves. This has happened to us on numerous occasions. We have been a loyal Wegmans customer but I am truly sick and tired of bringing home food only to discover it is out-of-date. You pay a premium to shop at Wegmans and the customer has a right to expect food that is fresh. If I want stale out-of-date food I'll shop in a dumpster. I have started shopping at ShopRite on Union Mill Road in Mt Laurel and on Rt 130 in Cinnaminson. Both have a much better selection and I have never purchased food that was out-of-date. In case you can't tell, I am angry with Wegmans. My family and I intend to broadcast this issue broadly throughout Moorestown and Mt Laurel. BTW: I called the store and gave the manager my full contact information so they know exactly who I am. I have been a major customer and I am seriously re-considering where we shop. Oh, you are thinking I am just one little insignificant customer - wait until we start broadcasting our dissatisfaction. All done.

Don't get me wrong; I REALLY like Wegmans. I started coming here exclusively because I could NEVER, EVER find everything I needed at one store until I came here. Normally, I'd have to go to 3 different markets, piecing together my grocery list until I found everything. 99% of the time, Wegmans will have everything you need. SURE, it's more expensive (actually, disturbingly so....) but I figured that I was spending the difference in gas and time to go to 3 separate locations. BUT, after using Wegmans as my pretty much exclusive supermarket for a couple months now, I'd have to say that I'm SERIOUSLY considering switching back. First of all, yes, it is actually MUCH more expensive. I would say I'm AVERAGING like $30-40 more per trip. Especially the prepared foods and meats. I was in the bakery, and wanted to get a cookie for my daughter; it was SIX DOLLARS! For ONE damn cookie. Ground beef is like $10 here. Some of the prices here are astronomical. Secondly, despite what some of the reviews say, I am NOT a fan of the layout. They have a bunch of weird half aisles, and there isn't a great rhyme or reason to it. They have like a 30 foot wall of yogurt, but then the REST of the yogurt is in a different section. Third, and the straw that is breaking Wegmans back, is that THE SHELVES HERE ARE CONSTANTLY BARREN. CONSTANTLY. I just think they didn't prepare for how popular this store is, but I haven't been here ONCE, and come away with everything I came for. Sure, it was an item that they SELL there, but they just didn't have it. May lightning strike me dead if I'm lying, but I have been here about 10 times in the past 2 months, and NOT. ONCE.....not a SINGLE time, have they had Coffee Mate Italian Sweet Cream in stock. Not ONCE. It's INFURITATING. Every single time I go here, there will be something I need, and when I get to where it is on the shelf, it will be empty. I'm not exaggerating. Check the pictures. They do a lot of things right here. They have an app that you can basically check out as you shop. They have a full liquor store that is positively STACKED with wine (they did NOT have my cider though....) They have prepared food and a dine in area. The carts are great and roll smooth and straight (no small feat.) But despite all that, I'm just really on my last nerve with this store and it not having what I need on it's shelves.

First time at this amazing store. Being from NYC, we were in the area for the night. Stopped by after a recommendation from some really nice people. We were looking for some spirits to take back to the hotel. We left with what we wanted and more. They have high quality foods and ingredients for anyone and everyone. The specialty items were amazing. We rushed out of the store, before we went into debt. They have items that we've never seen before. Can't wait to visit NJ again, because NYC doesn't have any of these Quality items. And customer service was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great grocery store. At first I was a bit apprehensive to shop here because I thought it was kind of expensive. Bought some hot food which was really good and left. Then I came back and literally walked the whole store. They have excellent prices and choices. Stuff you can't find at regular groceries. I try to eat healthy now and they have all sort of little combination snacks you can make and remain healthy. I recommend this place.
