Decent service. Tax pros. You'll spend your entire return (if you get one) on their service. Not cost effective. At least do yourself a favor and try to locate a smaller local service for $150-200 instead of H&R Block's $450-500 fee.

Owner - thank you for the reply , but it's not that complicated & easier for me to reply here.
It’s apparent that H&R Block is focused on cost-cutting, but unfortunately, that seems to come at the expense of these seasonal offices, which are receiving minimal attention and support.
While I understand the location is only open for part of the year, basic updates like a fresh coat of paint, new carpeting, and a full-time receptionist—especially during the critical final 30+ days leading up to April 15th feel like reasonable actions. These changes would go a long way in improving both client experience and staff morale.

15+ year H&R customer in the same location and it's beyond appalling how this office has deteriorated over the years.
This review is NOT reflective of the tax specialists. They are overwhelmed, under supported & making it the best they can with what they have.
H&R Block Corporate (Executive team), the District General Manager and local Manager should be absolutely ashamed at how they seem to show no pride or support to their customers or team members.

Terrible experience! Got there and apparently the office manager had gotten rid of our appointment. Had the text stating the date and time and showed it to CPA . She said that if we wanted to wait she would accommodate us . Thank you Dorota for staying late to help us .

Dorota Mis has been absolutely amazing over the past few years! I highly recommend seeing her for your taxes—she explains everything thoroughly and is incredibly kind. However, H&R Block’s pricing is outrageous—over $450 for my tax return plus an additional $41 just for direct deposit. That’s simply unfair. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning because of these costs. H&R Block, we can do better.
I did receive a message to possibly receive a partial refund for that outrageous price, and never heard back. Super sad , I’ve been a customer for years.

Dorota M. Has been doing my taxes for sometime now. I came to her with a complicated tax situation and she was highly knowledgeable and incredibly skilled. She walked me through every single step and really simplified things for me. She is professional and personable and because of her I actually enjoy tax season! ?

It cost me $470 for a W2 and 1099 WITHOUT any extra protections or insurance. The excuse being I should have come earlier to get discounts. Never again, Block. Never again.
