Michaels is a store offering everything to create anything, with expansive craft assortments including popular art supplies, fabric, canvases, yarn, knitting and crochet supplies, frames, floral items, scrapbook materials, beads, jewelry kits, Cricuts, and craft machines. It also allows customers to party plan with ease, providing balloon inflation, party decorations, gift packaging, favors, tableware, and seasonal occasion decor. The store is clean and well laid out, with many sale opportunities and clearance items. Customers report awesome end of year deals, like getting multiple canvases for the price of one. The custom framing service is noted as very professional, with staff keeping customers updated throughout the process. However, some customers express disappointment with limited selections for specific seasonal crafts. There are also complaints about staff behavior at the register, described as extremely rude, including handling a customer's phone improperly. Overall, while the layout and inventory are consistent, the experience depends heavily on friendly, helpful employees and pleasant fellow shoppers, which this location is noted to provide.
Mikey and Chris in framing were so helpful! They saved me money, thought outside the box, and went above and beyond. I felt totally comfortable with my art in their hands. Thanks so much!!
