I use this store periodically from time to time to get a few odds and ends bc it's conveniently located. Not a great selection and some items stay on the shelves longer than they should. Most employees are helpful, with a few notable exceptions. The checkout, especially the self checkout , is antiquated and a disaster even for the most simple transactions. Recently had 2 items at check out and the scanner unit stalls out and notifies you loudly and repeatedly that help is on the way. . . . and for no logical reason, and help is usually NOT on the way. Tried a different scanner. . . . same result. Handwriting was on the wall, left my items behind and just made a hasty exit. Stick with Shop Rite. . . Self check-out works 98% of the time & folks there always take care of you for any issue that may arise.

The lady that runs the florist at Weis is very rude employee. I would never buy anything in that department. She should not be working there if she doesn’t like to deal with the public.

I did my shopping this past Sunday evening and there were no less than 6 employees just standing around, not one regular check out open and not one of them could tell me which aisle the bread crumbs were in. One of the women I asked responded quite curtly that everyone knows they are in aisle 10. They were indeed not in aisle 10! Why have so many people on the payroll if literally not one of them is helping customers?

Not really what I've expected not really a big fan of someone who is a cashier go on and on talking about certain subjects. And it was very difficult to leave. And almost made us late for a doctor's appointment and they don't have the quality workers the other stores have.

Staff very helpful.. Dealt with meat department to look for a specific cut, staff member spent the time to get what I wanted out of back room. Front end staff very nice as well. At times I use the Weis 2 Go service, they generally come through. Had issues in past where they would go give me non-organic Weis product when I asked for organic...has not been issue last 2 orders.

They had lemons for 79 cents! Across the street the same lemon was 33 cents! Felt like a rip off.Also, a couple of weeks ago, the attendant was impatient and made me feel rushed and unwelcome after they announced the store was closed. Just don't like it when they make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you wrap up your purchases. So I will be taking my business across the street where service with a smile is guaranteed and patience is part of customer service!

Bakery is absolutely disgusting. There were flies on everything and the managers did not care at all....The response was, "Eh, we know about the flies, nothing we can do."

I’ve been coming to this Weiss in Flanders New Jersey for a very long time and every time I come I’m always disappointed with the customer service.I hate the self check out lines because every item causes an issue with the system so instead, I tried the one and only check out line that actually had a human, and she was rude, tossed around items that needed a bit more care, bagged pine sol with food items & put my eggs at the bottom with heavy items on top! What the hell is wrong with people! What has happened to the customer service industry? It’s pathetic.

It’s actually fine until you get to self checkout. I absolutely loathe the self check out machines here. You have to scan EACH item and THEN put it in the bag in that order! So you can’t scan a few quickly and rearrange in your bags. You can’t take out an item you placed in a bag to put in another bag, you can’t put a bag on the floor once you run out of room on the table (because it has to keep a record of the weight). Every time you don’t follow one single annoying step, an employee has to come swipe their badge to clear you. If you have a large number of items, checking out takes as long and sometimes longer than the actual shopping. Oh it also needs to know how many bags you plan to use in advance! It’s so frustrating, I purposely avoid shopping here.

Prices are fair. The staff friendly. The isles are kept clean and well stocked. I hate shopping, but this place is set up to get you in and out as painlessly as possible.

This is a nice location. I find the aisles wide, and easy to navigate. This location had a nice selection of baked goods, and their seafood looked great. I always find what I need in the Deli. Many pre-sliced, and pre-packaged options available, thus making it easier to not go to the deli counter. I also like the cut flowers, and plants in their floral area. All in all, a nice location.
