They do have some items on sale and reasonable prices competing with the big stores like bottle king. Staff are super friendly and even gave me a gift set out of pure kindness. Would recommend.”

“We ordered a keg a little last minute and they were still able to get it for us. Unfortunately when we got it home and let it sit we could not get it to tap. I drove back and they happily gave me 2 different taps to try and told me not to worry about returning either of them until I got the tap working. We still couldn’t get it. I know it wasn’t user error as we had, let’s say very experienced people on it trying to get it to lock and tap. It just wouldn’t do it. Idk if it was the temp or the pressure build up or what but it just wouldn’t go. I went back to the store one more time bought some cases of beer and they let me know I’d get a refund. People like this are what make local business central to communities. Since my wife and I moved into our house recently, this has been my go to liquor store and it 100% will continue to be. I’ll definitely order a keg again. Shit happens but they made a bad moment more tolerable. Thanks guys!”
“The owner is a great guy. The whole staff is always helpful. They have an amazing selection of wines, liquors, and beer. Plenty of craft beer options you can't find everywhere. Amazing aged whiskey section. Anything you can't find, they can usually order for you.”

“Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only criticism is I've been getting this Marsala wine in the picture since 2012 at this liquor store and they no longer carry it.
I would always buy three or four bottles at a time. I will have to now order it from the website. It was so convenient for me to stop by after work to pick up this bottle so I can make my chicken marsala and now I'm going to have to order it from the website. But they have a terrific selection of liquors and beers and the store is very clean.”

“I've lived at Village House in downtown South Orange for the past three years and have absolutely loved it. In fact, I originally moved here because a close friend had been living here for nearly a decade and couldn't say enough good things about it.
The property is safe, clean, and exceptionally well maintained. Having the South Orange Police Department right across the street adds an extra sense of security, and the landscaped grounds are always attractive and well cared for. There is a cozy park in the back of the building that is quiet and serene. The tenants are friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are spacious, bright, and full of charm which is increasingly hard to find.
One of the biggest advantages is the location. Village House is just a short walk from the South Orange train station, with direct service into New York City, as well as great restaurants, shops, and community events right outside your door.
Affiliated Management has also been outstanding to work with. Whenever I've had a question or needed assistance, the team has been responsive and professional. In particular, Mike Finer and Karen Maloy have been terrific. They consistently get back to me the same day and have always been helpful and solution-oriented.
Village House is a wonderful place to call home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for apartment living in South Orange.”
