“What a fantastic move I had thanks to the guys at Strongmile Movers!! Joe, the owner, sent a three-man team to help with my move from one apartment to another a few streets over in Highland Park… and he could not have sent three harder-working men for the job! Casper, Devin, and David showed up with GREAT attitudes and immediately set me at ease with their friendliness and professionalism. As a single woman trying to move a 2 bedroom apartment by herself, I needed all the help I could get, and I felt like I was in great hands with these three! The guys made sure I was comfortable and relaxed during the move (they literally set up a chair in the shade and requested that I sit and take a load off!! I didn’t lift a finger!) while they did all the heavy lifting. They went the extra mile at every opportunity: they wrapped my couch, TV, and other fragile items with care before loading, and patiently conferred with me at the new apartment to figure out the best furniture layout for each room. Joe even stopped by personally to chat with me and check in to make sure the move was starting off smoothly, which was an extra boost of confidence that I was in good hands. I could say so much more about how this team made my move the easiest I’ve ever had in over a decade renting and relocating, but suffice to say you get EXACTLY what you pay for when you hire Strongmile: peace of mind, quality customer service, and fantastic work ethic. I will be recommending Strongmile to everyone I know in the area!!”

“I reserved a truck at the South Plainfield location, and Jason, who assisted me, was so pleasant and extremely accommodating. It was a busy day for him there. I waited for him to assist a couple of other clients who were before me. As courtesy for waiting, he applied an additional 25% discount on the rental. Not for nothing, after comparing prices of rentals with other competitors, Penske seemed to be the one who offered a deal. I highly recommend Penske. Jason was attentive and sweet.”

“We rented a one way 10 foot u haul truck from Mount Vernon, NY and dropped it off in this location. The front desk took our key and that was it. We received a receipt for the transaction. Very easy and seamless process. We didn’t have to park it just give the key to the front desk. The neighborhood is sketchy. Watch out for scammers.”

“Didn't know what to expect when I arrived here to rent the van because it looked as if no one was there. Once inside I saw George. He greeted me and asked how he could help. He asked if I had a reservation. When I replied no, he said not to worry, he had plenty. He asked where I would be going which I first thought was off but he wasn't being nosey, he needed to add mileage charges for the estimated charges. His estimate was on spot on, which meant no surprise charges for me ?. He explained the rental requirements and return expectations. My return experience was just a easy. Definitely recommend.”

“my car was broken I went with another rental company they took long time and preferences for their regular customers then I fed up because I have to go to work than I call auto tem within 5 minutes he sent a message to send details about me like id,ins,email next 10 minutes I signed up my agreement and get the car right away I prefer for another car without any hesitation they gave me another one. I am very much comfortable with them and the car is also well maintained and quality one. I might called 10 times a day not even one time they didn't upset on me all the time they talk politely answered me. please encourage them like this company instead of big companies. “I normally don’t do these reviews, but this one is not once, but twice deserved. I’m in NJ working and got a car from Philadelphia airport and needed to extend due to job extensions and now I’m in north jersey and just driving in isn’t a convenience. Corporate budget couldn’t help, other locations hung up, and getting a person on the phone a the Philadelphia airport was impossible.
On a limb and ready to give up, I called this location that had nothing to do with my original booking. Not even a corporate spot.
I’m so happy I did. I was surprised by the first ring pickup and no automation… an actually person, and an amazingly nice and personable one. She helped me and made it painless and I swear I was done in a couple minutes vs the hold time everywhere else. Incredible. I wish I remembered her name.
Fast forward a week later… I need another extension. I call corporate, the airport, etc. no help. Then I remembered the beacon of hope last time. Sure enough, I called and got the same amazing woman that helped me last time. I remembered her, but didn’t expect her to remember me… then she pulled up my name and did. Amazing. She is a self proclaimed “older person” that still holds customer service at a high regard. I travel for work and reach a lot of these hotels and rental agencies, but this one will stick with me forever. She even invited me in for coffee and doughnuts even though I didn’t rent from them.
They can provide a level of service these big corporate locations can’t. I can’t recommended them enough, and will forever use them in the future in this area. I look forward to thanking face to face, but for now I hope this review (a serious rarity for me) will suffice. Your locations yet again restored my faith in customer service and maybe even humans in general haha!

“We rented a 10ft Uhaul truck, which is ideal for a 1-2 bedroom apartment. I suggest you have dollies to move your heavier pieces, and load truck smartly as things can shift around. This truck drove very smoothly, had good pick-up with the v-8. This truck does not have a ramp, but is lower to easily step off, load your stuff. Not a complaint, but I would have someone get out, and physically assist when backing up. It can be tricky, and you are blind. Overall great experience, drop off at night no problem, left keys in drop box. This location on Rahway Ave is close to Route 1, and close to adjoining towns.”

“A&H Trucking is hands down the best. I am a logistics coordinator for a chocolate factory and our fundraising season has fully kicked off! I had a pallet sitting at a major LTL companies' terminal and they were refusing to deliver this for us when we needed it to... I called A&H and instantly received good service and relief knowing they will take care of my freight needs. Effortlessly; they came into the terminal, picked my pallet up and delivered it to the local high school for us. Our customer was thrilled to get this product and to be able to distribute everything to their students before the kick off of Labor Day weekend.If you need a reliable company for any type of LTL/courier services please give A&H a call. you wont be disappointed. “For a total of 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of using U-Haul as my storage provider. I’ve had my belongings in storage at the location in Hillside for 3 of those years. I’ve never had an issue and although the security is on another level, I always knew my things were safe. Yesterday, we moved our things out and closed our unit. The level of customer service that Homero displayed to us has to be studied because it is TOP TIER! I stopped inside of the establishment 3 times with different questions and each time he was extremely helpful and understanding. His smile is infectious and he’s very knowledgeable. Thank you for turning a bittersweet moment into a memorable experience.
