“I have to say, this is a business place, not a drama factory like the other company. In the las couople of months I have had to rent a vehicle a couple of times, both were a disaster with the other company, making a reservation, getting there and ending up walking back to my place. At Avis, not even five minutes after arriving I am on the road with my rental, it says something.”
“I had reserved a 10' truck for the afternoon, but the person who rented that same truck for the morning never returned it. After waiting (my choice) for 20 minutes or so, the apologetic agent offered me a 15' truck for the same price. It was an older, high-mileage truck, but it more than sufficed for my needs. I returned that truck in about 90 minutes (morning renter still had not returned) before the office closed, but the check in system was down. Same agent offered to check me in the next morning w/o additional charge, which he did. Apparently, the morning renter returned the 10' truck to a location in Edison. That location erroneously charged ME for HIS rental; the next day I saw the charge on my CC and called that office. They called the Princeton office to confirm what happened and quickly offered me a full refund for the error. Mistakes happen, and some things (morning renter) are out of their control (I used to work in customer service, so I get it), but everyone I worked with in both the Princeton and Edison locations handled their respective issues quickly and professionally. Thumbs up!”
“Excellent Service! Used the mobile/webpage feature to check-in. Was met by Stu inside to complete my rental pickup. Walked me through the whole process and explained features and tips for the vehicle. He gave plenty of instruction on returning the rental on time and placement. As soon as I returned, Stu was already inspect the truck for a quick turnaround. Was offered to stay for rental closure or they would complete the invoice online. Opted for online and received invoice/bill quickly. They definitely have the system down to a science. Recommended!”
