I reserved a 12' truck, when I got there they said the facility did not carry 12' foot truck. The corporation reserved me a 12' cargo van which is the same size & capacity. I opened it, it is smaller & I said it is smaller, the girl was like no. I had no choice but to take it. I looked it up it is 180 cu foot smaller AND it is less expensive. Of course all my items did not fit. First van had issues, they gave me a different van- no gas & dirty! Oh if you rent & pay under your name- even if you do not drive it- if someone else drives you get charged a 2 driver fee, $24 a day. When returning vehicle they wanted to charge me $9.74 a gallon of gas because tank was not full. Explained I did not pick it up full tank, the woman was like well we have no way of knowing, its not in the computer. Never again with Budget. Called corporate- they could care less their service stinks.

If I could give less than 1 star I would...each time I rented from this place (my fault for doing it more than once) there was always something wrong. The cars are always dirty and we end up having to clean them on the inside before our journey even starts. This past June, I was told that they have new owners and the car was just cleaned. As we walked outside to the car, it was dirty as if someone had driven through mud and the gas tank was on a quarter tank. I was told to disregard and return at that same level. The manager's cell phone is connected to the main number which gets unprofessional since there is always static and always seems to never be at the location. The list goes on and one but steer clear of this location...

I made a reservation 3 weeks before my move. 2 days before my move I got a call saying there would not be a truck available for me. What the hell was the point of my reservation then? Their customer service representative told me if I found another truck that was more expensive they would reimburse me difference. When I tried to take them up on that offer they rescinded it. I cannot believe how unprofessional Budget is. I will NEVER give a single cent to this company and I don't suggest you do either!

Yeah, reserved a Minivan for pickup here, 2 weeks in advance. Show up to find out they gave the last one out. Leaving us without a car. Do not rely on them to actually have what you need when you reserved it.

Worst car rental location ever. I had a confirmed and pre-paid rental with them but they didn't have my chosen car available when I got there to pick it up. They offered another much smaller car which wouldn't have fit my luggage. The front desk person was hopeless. The manager on the phone was like..."take it or leave it". This is not how you serve customers. Poor management and complete disregard for pre-paid reservations.

I rented a minivan online for 5 days and paid money online in advance. But when I picked up the van the agreement they made me to sign didn't show up the money I paid online. Ultimately they charged me twice. I called the site few times and they couldn't see the earlier payment. Ended up calling the account department and the rep Dave Wiseman who is really a wise man who found the erroneous charge and refund the money. Also the agreement said the car has full tank fuel but it didn't. Fortunately I took a picture of the meter before taking the car and when dropped off the car which showed the exact level of fuel and send the pictures to Dave who in turn refunded the money too. Rental price was much cheaper than the Airport price.

Where do I begin.... just horrible service all the way around. I will be back to update this review but I had such a MISERABLE experience early October 2017 when Brandon failed miserably at the basics of his job. Steer clear of this location

I made online reservation for a 12' truck a week and half prior to moving date for 9am pick up. I get a call at 7pm the night before from a very rude representative who says they don't have any truck for me to use. I asked if there is anything they can do (rent me a different vehicle or if any is available from different location) and he says there is nothing they can do but puts me on hold for 15 minutes and hangs up. No apologies during the call. I tried calling them back numerous times right after but could not get hold of anyone for an hour and left a voicemail. Then someone else calls me back pretty much saying the same thing, but with an apology and whole lot more professionalism, and cancels my reservation. The second person was a lot better, but AVOID this place and go pay a little more at Uhaul.

Horrible service! Lack of professional attitude from the manager and employers as well. SO I booked a truck , 10' online at this location and when I called prior to showing up at my scheduled time of appointment about certain questions, he does not tell me that this location does not carry a 10' truck. And when I show up, there was a change in shift and this girl new to the job, told me that they don't have 10' truck!! So I asked her to call the guy who I spoke to and he tells me that I had cancelled the order so someone else was given the truck, so I asked for confirmation of cancellation if so and he said to ask customer service main number since they should have it. It did not make sense since my reservation was still valid when I checked and so did CS!! The manager then over the phone asks me to call around at other Budget truck rentals to see if they carry trucks of that size and I said "its not my job" so he makes few calls but in vain and tells me that they dont carry 10' trucks at hsi location which completely contradicts what the guy told me about giving away a 10' truck to someone else! On top of that he tries to convince me to take a cargo van but I told him that wasn't an option since I'm moving my stuff and when I ranted to him about their lack of care he just cuts of the conversation by saying "okay thank you very much have a good day" and hangs up!! Never go to this place for a truck instead always book one from U-Haul which I did right away on 18S in E Brunswick! I also noted down the name of the manager and the other members as well as their employee id and made an official complaint at Budget customer care and they were even more bizarre saying "we don't know but maybe our manager will call you or else settle the matter internally" :O And trust me I'm the most laziest person to write a lengthy review, but I did in this case because that's how upset I am with the manager and his folks at this location.
