Gloria jeans is one of the places I stop for coffee when I have class on the weekends and I have a break. The coffee shop is located in downtown New Brunswick off 27. Shop is small but it is nice and clean. You need a code to go into the bathroom but if you ask the people behind the counter they will give it to you. The staff here is friendly and will give you recommendations if you ask, I also had something made wrong once and let them know and they happily remade the drink for me. Which was nice of them. When I come here I tend to get one of their flavored lattes. They have a bunch of different seasonal flavors and so I will tend to go with that. I don't think I've been disappointed by anything, but since I usually order seasonal items I can't give one specific item that I recommend over something else. One of the last things I really enjoyed was the creme brulee latte and I thought it was really good. If you need a cup of coffee and you're in downtown New Brunswick, this is definitely a place to check out.

Gloria Jean's charms with its quaint ambiance, making it a delightful coffee spot. The pastries are a highlight, and there are convenient wall seats with outlets for studying, giving it a cozy, homey feel. Despite the absence of music during my visit, the atmosphere was pleasant. On the downside, the barista's demeanor was a letdown. While I understand the challenges of the job, a friendlier approach would have been appreciated. Additionally, the plain latte with vanilla fell short of expectations, as it was alright at best.

The shop is not even open when I was there at 7.45am when it's stated open at 7am. The door are chained up ... doesn't look like anyone is interested to

Cashier with green hair and helper were VERY rude. Slapped the wrong coffee order off the table and slammed it on the garbage. I’ve gotten better service at McDonald’s.

We are from NH and we were visiting family in the area. In NH the Gloria Jeans is an hour away. We missed their coffee and found this place. The service was wonderful, the people were friendly and kind. The place was clean and tidy. Thank you for an amazing experience and wonderful coffee❤️

Around 4.30pm Monday 09/4/23 we went in the store and the barista ( shaved head girl) with mask on was telling us quote “I’m closing in 30mins and I can’t make these foods” without even a simple “hi”. Is this how you serve your customers?

I came at 7:30am the barista that was there had a nasty attitude. I had even greeted her with a ‘good morning’ and she continued to have an attitude. I left with my order to notice the lid she gave me was cracked… i would not be this uptight if she had treated the customers that came after me the same way but she did not. She was super sweet with them! This was my first and last time at this location! This type of attitude isn’t right as its how you set up someone’s day

Solid coffee spot, the café horchata was delicious as well as some of the baked goods, including the brownie. Will probably be my go to in the area if nothing else proves to be better.

Good coffee & service. Won't allow bikes inside, and there are no bike racks outside. Not acceptable for a downtown location in the 21st century
