Salt Seafood & Oyster Bar
103 Church St, New BrunswickWe came for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner because everything was so good! The food was outstanding, and the service was even better. The staff was incredibly attentive , empty plates were cleared almost immediately, and our server always showed up right when our drinks were running low. We never had to wait for anything. The food was so delicious that I completely forgot to take pictures before we started eating! Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back.

Ale 'N 'Wich Pub
246 Hamilton St, New BrunswickAle n’ Wich was a great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were excellent, and the service really made the night stand out. Big shoutout to Conor, who was my bartender. He went out of his way to make sure I had a great time, from giving recommendations to answering questions and making sure I always had what I needed. He was one of the friendliest bartenders I’ve met, easy to talk to, engaging, and the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The bar itself is also fantastic. You can play pool and foosball, make requests for what’s playing, and even change the music, which made watching the World Cup even better. The whole vibe is great, the people are welcoming, and it feels open to everyone. Between the atmosphere, the drinks, and the overall quality of the place, it’s easy to see why Ale n’ Wich stands out. I’ll definitely be back.

Fritz's
115 Easton Ave, New BrunswickCollege town joint with not much of an atmosphere. They make really good sandwiches and some are creative. They also offer a combo with a drink, half a sandwich, and a soup for a reasonable price. Everything is made to order and it can be slow but worth it nonetheless.

Dashen Ethiopian Cuisine & Bar
88 Albany St, New Brunswickwe were so happy we found this restaurant before we went to see our play at the State theater. We started with the very fresh and tasty house salad. Then we ordered the special combination for two people for $95 that included five veggies, two beef, two chickens, two seafood, and one lamb dish along with injira. everything was absolutely delicious. And there is quite a bit to take home. Will definitely be back

Hidden Grounds Chai & Coffee House
4C Easton Ave, New BrunswickDuring my time in New Brunswick, this was my favorite coffee shop to go to! Amazing space and drinks are meticulously and deliciously crafted. Highly recommend any of their cold brews, they are all fantastic and well balanced in flavors, not overly sugary. You can appreciate the additional flavors in each drink.
