I’ve never had a prescription get refilled without an issue, often requiring that I wait in the store for 20 minutes for them to address it or have a prescriber call in the script a second time. My insurance mandates that I go to CVS so I am going to start going to a different location. Worsening the situation, they blast music deafeningly loudly, especially right over the pharmacy counter.

Waiting in line for over 15 minutes is common place at the pharmacy dept. It is surprisingly slow.

Almost every time I fill my scripts they are either out of them for a few days or they shower me 3-5 pills. They switch the company who makes the meds every year and they don’t fix scale to new meds and always am shorted a few pills. Not the end of world but if it was a medication that was life or death that’s unprofessional. Most employees at the pharmacy are extremely rude and yelled out your medication for all to hear.

The person at the counter was wearing pants way below the waist. He was also talking really quietly like a prince and everybody was annoying him a lot.I understand the job is not the most exciting, but it's not the reason to treat people that way.

Remarkably inept pharmacy, that manages to get worse, year after year. They "loose" your electronic prescriptions, when prescription renewals run out, they "can not" renew with your Dr's office (other pharmacies manage to do that), and no prescriptions are ever filled in under 1hr from electronic submission from your Dr. Even if they are idle and there are 3-4 people behind the counter, they will ask you to come back an hour later. I've transferred all my prescriptions and taken my business elsewhere.Location is convenient, but basic proficiency and willingness to help are proudly lacking.

Jason greeted me with a smile as I entered, I have never been greeted upon entering the store, he helped me at the self checkout, and was very kind while doing so, he made my shopping experience a good one!!

Horrible pharmacy experience. My doctor mistakenly sent my prescription here and they refused to send it over to my local CVS pharmacy.

I urge you to go to any other cvs than this one !!the pharmacists here always either mess up the prescription or forget one, no in between.just like the other day when my mom went to this CVS to get 2 prescriptions for me. but guess what? when she went to take them out of the bag there was only 1 in there. so she had to go all the way back to get one of them.

I originally moved my Rx’s from a different CVS because they issued me the incorrect meds twice and were extremely rude to my young son who would go there to pick them up for me during covid. At the New Providence store they appear to be disorganized bordering on incompetency. They messed up a major medication order and after almost two hours of waiting they said they could not get it for me. They suggested I go to the Berkley Hts location who has it in stock. It was now 7:55 pm with the BH location being 10 minutes away and closing at 8pm. I asked them to notify BH I was on the way but BH said they were closing and would not wait. I had to go to Plainfield to pick up my insulin to avoid any serious circumstances. I have since moved my Rx account to a non CVS pharmacy and I am completely satisfied. Yesterday CVS filled one of my Rx without authorization and gave me a nonesense answer when I asked how they could do that. Looks like it is not an individual store problem but an overall corporate issue. There are a lot of good pharmacies out there so don’t be the next victim of this incompetent inconsiderate conglomerate and go to another pharmacy where you are treated with dignity and respect…i did.

As someone who’s worked in the past at CVS for 5 years, this specific store is absolutely horrible. Terrible service, no employees on the floor, no shelf facing, missing items (shelves not restocked), manager nowhere to be seen and unhelpful when you go directly to his office to ask for an employee to process a transaction.I know the standards the regional district leaders put in place. Truly, this store should be closed due to how poor the conditions and the customer service is. The employees are unprofessional and creepy even.One of the older employees was cursing under her breath at the pharmacy while I was waiting quietly to sign for my medications at pickup. She was muttering comments and cursing (I think she thought she was talking in her head) because she ended the transaction in a different tone completely unaware.I’ve come here often and each time I dread picking up my prescription. They never ever ever answer the phone so I have to physically go in every time to schedule a refill. They don’t acknowledge you and will ignore you until you come up to the counter and call out for someone. Happened almost every time I’ve gone this year.One of the male employees just watches u from a distance. He will be near shelves and stop what he’s doing to watch u walk through aisles. Extremely unnerving. I’m sure you’ll know who he is if you visit.All in all, please restructure store and retrain the staff. You do not properly represent CVS care values and have lost numerous customers. Standard are very very low here.

This CVS is gross. Not sure when it was last cleaned. From the look of the filthy, stained rug I would say 1990. And the help behind the registers... It's like the island of misfit toys. I live in town but won't use this store any longer. Gives me the heebie-jeebies.
