Best Western Plus Newark Airport West offers a mixed experience for guests. The hotel features comfortable beds and provides a free shuttle service to the airtrain and terminals every half hour, which many find convenient. Customer service is highly praised, with staff members described as friendly, professional, and accommodating, particularly during check-in and check-out. However, the property shows signs of age, with reviews noting musty smells, stained furniture, and peeling wallpaper. The lobby is also reported to be small and not particularly inviting. Guests have mentioned challenges with the hotel's location, including difficulty finding it due to construction and poorly lit signage. Parking is noted to be limited, which can be frustrating. While the rooms may meet expectations for the price, some guests experienced noise disturbances from neighboring rooms. Despite these issues, many appreciate the reasonable pricing and the overall helpfulness of the staff. The hotel appears to be a decent choice for travelers with layovers, but updates and improvements would enhance the guest experience significantly.
Conveniently located close to the airport via a free shuttle they offer. There's nothing at walking distance. The room was okay but smells like cigarette. Good shower with plenty of hot water. They used to offer free breakfast but not anymore. Now only overpriced breakfast.

Definitely clean and affordable but we only booked this hotel since it was next to the train station but it doesn't have street access so we ended up having to shuttle into the airport the take the air train every day to get to and from New York everyday but the shuttle is free.

I' m staying here now, it's nice to have the extra level of customer service, for example I use cannabis and they went the extra mile and put me in room 420--just to let me know they care...
