“Really nice Masjid mashallah. If you’re going to Jummah the parking lot fills up asap so make sure to go early. They have produce boxes for members of the masjid who need them which I thought was really nice and thoughtful. The imam also gave a very nice khutbah and I definitely recommend listening to it all. There was even a cute cat at the entrance.”
“PLZ DONATE GENEROUSLY! This poor dog shelter desperately needs money, I sure hope the staff in the higher position are not taking a giant salary from the nonprofit money that comes in from donations. The staff were all great people that help and walk you through everything. Just a few cons. One, it’s a very old beat down place, almost extremely unsanitary to the point. There are pigeons flying, which literally poop on the dogs and inside of where the dogs are kept. I saw dead mouse inside one of the dogs cabin. so one portion of where the dogs beds are and where they sleep is extremely warm but the other side, where they usually go the bathroom is freezing cold, I mean, literally I was shaking while wearing the heaviest jacket on earth so just imagine when the dogs have to use the bathroom. now walking down the hallway the lights were not working, and it looked like the scene of a horror movie, poor dogs have no light in that section. lastly, when they just walk the dogs they have NO sweaters on them and mind you I went on the coldest weekend that we’ve had for 10 years and it was 5° out. Overall, I was truly disgusted but I have to say the dogs all seem healthy and properly fed food since they none of them looked malnourished.”
“What an incredible experience with Mantena employees. Ju helped me and advised me what I should do to be able to take my mother's ashes to Brazil. With it I got a password for the Itinerary Consulate and everything went well. When I was there, I noticed people passing by and collecting food from boxes at the entrance of the agency. I was moved by this. Guys, we have to be more humble to help so many who are in need. Congratulations Mantena, Solange and your entire wonderful team. ❤️❤️❤️”
“I would like to thank Susan, who volunteered her time at the USO on January 25-26, 2026. She came in to volunteer the day the airport was closed due to bad weather as we came in from Dubai she welcomed my husband and me to stay at the USO. She was so kind to offer us warm blankets and explain what the USO provides for veterans. Thank you so much, Susan; we appreciate it with all our hearts. You were our little angel.

“Boys and Girls Club was fun and they served good lunch, they have great teachers but this year they working on the other side, and I am a student and the experience is fun and for the summer camp they go on field trips and swim lessons and swimming, if you send your kids to great oaks they can ride the bus to the boys and girls club and they have game room and swimming pool and 2 parks, and a class room A and a gym and a dance room.”

“I have two nephews attending 5 and 4. Both are doing outstanding work. The five year old is finding his way towards the top of his class. The other still some days are a teachers challenge..lol. However he too comes home excited about just being good today. Overall this staff should be praised for such consistent work with all the children. My only gripe is the parking log up in the mornings also the afternoon. Not sure why there's no guard or police to help out. Its dangerous exiting the premises especially that parents are exiting or entering the same way with children”
“My mother used to work there and I used to be a student there. Paul McPleasant used to work there and was a bus driver. My mother's friend, "Cora" used to work there and Cora's daughter and her son used to be students there. I had a girlfriend, "Betty" and other girlfriends, "Lala and Shamay". And I had a friend named James. Ms. Farmer used to work there and she moved to North Carolina. I wanted Shamay to come to my house. I went on trips to the shopping center, to the amusement parks with my brother and sister, and to the beach with my brothers and my sister and her girlfriend, "Juliette". My sister other girlfriend, "Wanda Carter" used to work there and she was a friend of mine.”
